We gotta do something about the state of trading.

I agree TE. I hate paying for Items!

The biggest problem is that good stuff is drowning in a sea of junk and outdated stuff.

You got people spamming crappy level 40 rare's and the same low level uniques over and over again in chat.

On the forums most of the stores are filled with garbage.

And there's some good stuff with good prices but it's hard to find, just a bad signal to noise ratio.

We don't need an auction house, we need a better forum system to help search and weed out junk and trading forum posts should auto delete or archive to a special place after a few months as well.

You mean something like poe.xyz.is?
Problem is the fact is if trade is so hard that only 1% of people can be bothered then those 1% are going to be quite happy to keep it that way.

Also I wish people would stop using terms like 'community' which just like 'national interest' doesn't exist. There are different people who want different and often opposing things.

For one group of people to get something it pretty much automatically means it will piss of another group. That the same for all forms of politics.

GGG need to just work out what we make them the most money and do it
I like things the way they are now. Just buying out items is easy via poe.xyz, but things are convoluted enough that being a trader(a very mechanically rewarding endeavor) requires a lot of effort. It's just a means of rewarding alternative skillsets to player's ability to click on skeletons until they explode for 8 hour stretches.

Now that said I think hunting for wealth should be a bit more rewarding, and crafting more accessible.

When I saying "hunting should be a bit more rewarding" I do however mean "a bit". I'd hate to see a torchlight II scenario where you can farm a boss for an hour and see every unique in your level range drop. I think maybe a 20-50% increase in the drop rates of uniques that actually matter(think anything worth 1+ exalts) would be a good thing though- Still very rare, but less so then now.

As for crafting, contrary to the complaining masses I think fusing odds are fine as is- 5Ls are achievable but attainable for anyone committed(and honestly I think 6Ls should be exclusively the providence of the very rich). Honestly the facet of crafting I'd like to see become more accessible is affix rolling. Double the drop rates of chaos orbs and double their max stack size. Prices in regards to chaos will naturally equalize to double what they are now in time(and remain just as stable there), but orbs will actually common enough that even poorer players can actually. Eternal/Exalt crafting can remain a game for the rich, but the chaos lottery would at least be more accessible.

What's wrong with that?
He made me realize that it's been almost a full year since Chris mentioned that they were working on making some sort of better trading system.

There are plans to update and change the trading on the forums. They built the site from scratch to work with the game for a reason and will get it implemented when it is done.

yep, you know this is close to happening when you can link your own ingame items on this forum.
99% of the time I live in a very different timezone from my buyer, it's kinda frustrating to trade. It took me an entire week to sell off one of my axes because I was asleep when he is playing.
