yes. and I mention it in my OP.
but that does not replace optimization. it's a mid-step to allow better a gameplay experience while major stability tweaks are being worked on. on priority.

My main issue with that line of thought is the bar is being set far, far too high. Barebones settings in this game should be adequate for a huge variety of systems-- it's not.

Path of runescape is not the same as path of exile, best not to forget that imo.

These people are forced to play path of runescape when in reality, they should be offered adjustable settings to allow them to play path of exile.(by forced i mean, if they want to participate in the game, nobody is forced to play, duh)

the laughable part about this is, that ggg stated that they care about immersion when it suits there goals.

I am comparing PoE to PoE. current PoE vs. Open Beta PoE. the same damn game I used to play on medium settings with the same "potato PC" with even less RAM, and now can't even properly play on manually-modified "mud" settings.
I am comparing an ARPG which never really was about graphics by genre definition, to a super-intensive FPS that's all about graphics, by genre definition, which runs better for fuck's sake.

therefore I am saying it is about damn time to actually do something, serious, about optimization, before even your own prized super-troll PCs won't be enough the way this is going.
