Hey Etup since this build already does 25k DPS without any damage nodes do you think an uber tank health and hp regen stacking with vaal pact would work well? Getting inner force as well to get better bonuses from the purity of fire/ice/light in a party as well as grace and all the damage aura buffs.

I am thinking of doing this instead of staff crit as I think I would rather never die as apposed to being completely ridiculous damage with very decent damage from gear and gems alone. Would you run leech as a 6L still or maybe something else without vaal pact - since I'm going for heaps of life and life regen instead. Is leech needed or recommended if I went this health stacking route? Also planning on using a 6L doomsower or should i try and find a 600+ pDPS sword, the extra AoE seems really really nice as well as the free fire damage. Thoughts?

Edit: Ended up 6-Linking my sword and 5-Linking my belly can say that I am basically invincible now, running 75+ maps solo with any mods just alching and going without a single fuck given, great build with my full tank sword variant.

Honestly you are skipping out on the point of using a staff and static strike.

Static strike gets great bonuses for having lots of crit due to the way damage is calculated and the shocks. Big slower crits has great synergy with herald of ash's overkill damage as well.

More health and such is great, as is being tanky, but there are tons of various 2h sword/mace builds like that. If you want to maintain your crit rate, you really need the nodes in the main build there.

I am concerned about survivability here, as my dagger static strike ranger has slightly less life but triple the +% evasion that this build has. But I REALLY want to be able to leapslam and still be a crit static striker =)

Would CoH work with both HoT\Leap slam in a 6L?

I would dump those ES pieces and stack (much) more evasion.

If you can afford a 6L coil you should have no problem with the other pieces.

Rats nest, alphas howl, abyssus, maligaros are all fine uniques for the build IMO.

Oh and atziri step boots basically a req for acro builds. They are cheap+epic.

Problem is capping resists, I got maligaros but no crit spec yet. Also the coil I bought a long time ago, took me 15 fuses for 6L :)

The boots took most of my remaining currency. Basically the higher resists + life on those gave me the option to wear some other life pieces, went from 4.4 > 5.4k hp in total.

My archer ranger also has the issue but I did manage to cap resists. I wear unique helm gloves and boots with zero resists so I had to make them all up on jewelry, body, and belt. It can be done, keep an eye out for good deals on xyz.
