Etup Static Strike Tree/Gear

Haven't had time to respond to all the posts ill try to answer a couple questions real fast.

- Vaal Pact - You can live off flasking properly if you're in smaller groups 30-35k dps ideally you want to not run it as long as possible so you don't kill yourself. Ideally you get 6l then it doesn't matter. But if you want to be lazy you can do it at lower dps to be safe/tankier.

- Leveling guide - ill try and get something up but 2 builds kinda annoying etc etc ill get around to it.

- Crit VS RT - top end RT weps 600-700 vs staff will be higher dps (maybe not with aurabots etc) Also one huge advantage is you permafreeze everything with crit which is pretty insane.

- Weapons - Doomsower is pretty insane probably one of the best budget wep would take axe/sword at like 520+ over it probably.

- Phys to Lightning - Pretty GUD but lose leech and the ways to gain leech are not reliable in a lot of mapping.

Random questions - ETUP i dont understend link heral of ice -vaal grace-vengeance they dont work together - I put herald of ice in just for leveling it didn't do it for any other reason.

Would Static Strike be any good with a one-hander and shield?

I prefer that style as opposed to two handers.

Just try normal atziri.

Vaal and trio are pretty eazy to kill but the last boss is hard.

Seems dps too slow and my bad moving avoid spell.

This reply is from my alt account, where this character is.

I'm playing torment. If I were playing bloodlines I'd be a bit more conservative. I've probably ripped once in maps and am now lvl 77. As far as gear, I've been using coil, with coh, st, lmp, vuln socketed. However, I'm currently wearing/experimenting with a 5L corrupted glorious plate I found, with leech as the 5th link. Combined with devoto's devotion helm (10c), which gives 10% phys dmg reduction and some other very good stats, and various armor passives, I think this may be a better option than coil. I may pick up windscream or additional curse ring and change leech on ST to warlord's mark, so I can also leach with static strike, socketed in 4L doomsower.

My current gear, which cost me about 1.5ex (again, I found the astramenis) is below. My tooltip dps is a little over 30k with around 4k life while wearing aurseize. This is current gear:



I'm taking a fairly high elemental dmg approach to this build, which is working well, and warlord's mark leaches from ele damage as well as phys damage. I think RT is the way to go for non-Etup type players on limited budget below lvl 90.

Purchased doedre's damning curse ring to replace bad life leech ring. 5L chest is now ST, LMP, coh, warlord's, vuln. Confirmed OP.

I'm making a build which is very similar to the static strike one you outlined here (Etup). I'm doing pretty well at the moment dps wise (60k static strike, lvl 80 character), however, in terms of survivability and sustaining mana I'm finding it quite tricky.

Please could you take a look at the skill tree/items and make some suggestions for improvement, would be really appreciated. You'll find that some aspects such as the weapon and skill tree paths are a little different from yours, this is because I was doing my own thing without reference for like the first 70 lvls.

3k Life
5k Armour
530 Mana
Max Resists

- The thing I'm unsure about the most is wheather using the Abyssus helmet is a good idea or not, it does add ~3k dps, and a lot of armour, but does the physical damage taken outweigh all the positives?

- Not sure how the immortal call setup works, or if it works at all; what levels is best to keep them at?

Please also feel free to recommend any expensive late-game gear if it will improve the build.

Well first of all, I'd ditch abyssus, unless you can equip a lightning coil armor to outbalance the negative side of it. 3k dps when you already deal 60k isn't much.
I'd also use a life leech gem instead of relying on doryani's belt for lightning leech. 1% doesn't even justify going vaal pact.
