increasing amount of legacy items - unsportsmanlike

I expect that they didn't think about it until roughly the Silverbranch moment, at which point they were already in too deep.

Yeah, well, that is not the only thing that they went "too deep" into, before polishing the systems and design. To name the most popular would be the game engine (terrible FPS) and net-code (the all great desync). It would be REALLY hard to change any of those, but going deeper will make the problems even worse. I know that it would be risky to change the legacy items, or even further, the way items are created and/or balanced in the future, but keeping the old system and pretending that everything is ok is just silly. Same goes to engine and net-code.

Like i said every vet player would confirm the data i provide are to some extend correct and exactly that happen.

When you openly call someone retard and ggg does nothing about that you can be pretty much like sure they are still people and would feel bad about censoring what is actually correct statement.

ps: read my god damn signature
So did Legacy items naturally goes away as intended or they still core of standard economy 4 years later after they became "feature".

For numerical changes to increased/reduced/more/less modifiers, their current model has them handcuffed. Their only real option for this is the database migration which, due to #1, they will not do.

Nope, don't believe that, there have been numerous changes in the past. They added crazy new mods to items (only to change them soon after. Don't see why they couldn't do soemthing similair with legacy items.

It was something like:
Step 1:
Well we try a new line of defence, take these items with 234324 armor/es/evasion...
Step 2:
Nope, we didn't like that, let's change the existing items, no problems at all.

By the way, an easy fix would be:
1.) Improve divine orbs
2.) Divine every legacy item

problem solved.

I can quite understand you don't care for standard its mainly because crowd which remains on this game is playing leagues/hc.

But you know who could care actually? GGG ... majority of players back then was on standard (it was like 5:1 sc:hc). Well majority of people just couldn't stand when someone is literally shitting on their server choice.

We asked for fresh standard league prior to game full release, there was almost no voices against that idea people actually really want this to happen because it made sense at that point and we already see what poison legacy items/gems are bringing on the table so we want them to RUN the god damn sql query(servers are bring down every 4mt neverthless so maintance downtimes is no argument) or go for table referencing so the most essential part of ARPG >>items<< are actually patched based on changelog.

I hope GGG is still doing good even they abandoned 80% of their playerbase and that GGG is NOT on life support so all they do and have to do is create more cosmetic junk for shop.

This is a discontinued item, no body cares, a end game item gets tweaked and
and it causes threads like this lol.

if i could be bothered to find my quote i would be once again if you had a GG unique good for you for getting it before it went legacy on a new league, why would you wnat to reroll it on a new season anyway.
**Iv said it once ill say it again if someone doesnt have a peice of gear that went legacy you _____________________________clearly didnt want to play the build at the time it was OP.**__________________

I've got some cool legacies too.

just do it like the d3 devs: introduce a new tier of items, scale everything up.

Then came the big fire...(patch):

All items before the patch became basically worthless. Why is this good? It's an easy excuse to move on with the game to reset the economy. Nobody complains because of new content.

That's what we need. And by now I also got all legacies I needed to enjoy my build. But it's still such a pain trading those exalts...I totally understand why people don't like the path of trading.

Who is "we", exactly? It sure as hell isn't me.

This is a problem that exists solely in people's minds. A few people. Changing my stash to meet your needs is the height of too-muchery.
