so you're saying the chance to chance a unique was lowered, but how does that effect the way Pneuma corrected you in terms of mechanics? You seemed pretty confident.

Whether or not an item has a 1/1000 chance or a 1/3000 chance the mechanics still work the same way.

See the difference? Ask yourself why did we get MORE koams back then despite the lower change?

Do not forget, this thread is about how legacy items dropped/ were created and how they drop now/are created and not about the Infernal Mantle.

The point is that before Infernal:

999-1000 = Shavs

And after:

999-1000 = Shavs.

The chance of Shavs is still the same though right? The only difference created is that you don't get to scour unique items.

Well and i was assuming they were talking about reality, about how most godlike legacy items were created back then. One does not simply find a Koam without creating a few more on the path. At least back then .

That's why i hate arguments like "But we earned those uniques back then, we worked hard for it". No you didn't. You basicly got freeloot.

I don't care if they exist in their un-nerfed state or not. I would prefere no legacy items at all however i don't play standard.

in all seriousness, for pve this is a non issue as most new league have a mechanic that makes it shit loot ( case in point torment loot piniata ghosts)

but it is an issue in pvp when one guy has a 1000% face breaker and the other guy does not.

in which case perhaps there should be some way to check a mod against the current max and bar it from pvp...

legacy items in pvp is actually why i find the whole idea of standard being the setting for pvp rather strange.

also arent kaoms alot cheaper these days on account that most rf builds just use a 100 life str armor or belly of the beast or carcass jack?


legacy kaoms back in the day were 30 exa , i saw one a few weeks ago going for 6 exa. Id say 6 is easier to get than 30
