Since you are asking in general, of course I played better games like this.
Dark Souls, Baldurs Gate, Planescape Torment, Deus Ex and I could go on and on ..... But if you mean in the genre, then probably no. Titan Quest was my all time favorite. |

POE est in it's genre for sure.
Overall I dare say Gran theft auto V is one of the best I've ever seen. The number of detail in there and shit you can do even beats vine circlet unique drops The most shocking (positive note) graphical experience to me was tomb raider 1, lvl 3 with the T-rex. Considering 2 weeks before that I was still playing mario on SNES. Greatest gfx upgrade ever And Final Fantasy 7 literally made me sick as I didn't eat for 3 days just to play. Amazing what could be done there, back then (2001). "D2 was not even a shadow of Diablo. Diablo was very dark regarding atmosphere, had crazy sounds which added to the evil (now again used in D3, huh). Where D2 was less, D3 is even worse. Enjoyable, maybe, but absolutely not the same... I played WoW :) 2v2, 3v3 arenas and 25 raids were the best part of the game.

played D1, D2, D3, counter strike, warcraft3, starcraft1, ragnarok online, wow, all of these for more than years each, most for more than 3 years... but poe is the best game for me (playing it for about 1 year). i'm not saying i wont get bored in couple months but as devs keep adding great content, i'll probably wont
poe devs are also the best crew i saw from the games above, and D3 was the worst . i mean for fast updating and improving the game, technical support, maintenance, not adding shit bugs and exploits and dups like d3, taking good decisions about the game future, caring about the customer money. i only hope they keep all of those |

The thread title is wrong. There can be many games and many genre for games a person can like.
I play stuff like RTCW, WC3, NOLF, D2, Dungeon Siege 2, Bioshock, IW and RE4. Needless to say i still play all these games even though some are over 10 years old. They are different, not better. I like variety in the games i play as i like variety in an arpgs builds. |
