Where does no exalts but 84 tabs full of gear fall?

11 x Kaom's Hearts Vaal'd (All legacy... Shav's have been unlucky... 9 x 6L legacies so far, and no gg rolls). My best Legacy Shav and Kaom's Heart listed above. I never really thought I was super rich... but now it seems according to this I am Bill Gates rich on PoE? Hmmm, funny, I still feel poor... I'll consider myself UBER RICH once I finally roll a 1% to max resists on a legacy Kaom's Heart. Oh, I am an oxymoron, too (according to the criteria listed by OP, LOL)... I like to spend my currency all the time, but I guess I can since I have nothing better to do than to just spend it...

My Last crafting project I did for the hell of it:

5/6 T1 rolls and 1/6 T2 rolls; I could have gone for 6/6 T1, but at the time no one had anything near these rolls for iir/iiq gloves, so I just left them as is, and I made a ton of profit from mirror service (yes, even with 5/6 T1 rolls since I was the ONLY person to have ones this high at the time). Oh, and the 6/6 T1 GG "Rune Wrap" armour some of you may have seen going around (Saint Mail) was originally crafted by me, but I had an offer I couldn't refuse. I will be putting a hold on crafting other rares until after the patch. I also saved a ton of ilvl 100 items in the hopes that some day GGG will implement higher mods for high item levels. Oh, well, sometimes you think you might want something that you lack, but once you get it... eh, you realize that it was the pursuit to acquire/complete said object(s)/objective(s) that was actually far more enjoyable than when you finally arrive to the end... end... end, yes, I am very bored now, LOL!!!

Note: I wanted to spare this thread from spam, so I didn't want to sit here for a gillion years posting all the items/currency that I own. Oh, and yes... I'm kinda like those flippers you guys like to trash on at times, but I am of a much greater caliber ^_^

Edit: and by "you guys" I don't mean anyone here in particular... I was just speaking in general. Sorry about that. Oh, and, um... there should be a category for AXN/ANX, and he/she should be the only one in that category... I have yet to meet someone who is wealthier than they are; however, I acknowledge there is the possibility that some sleeps giants are yet sleeping... they might choose to stay asleep forever (I don't blame them for reasons I can relate to, eh, I need to stfu, I tend to go off on tangents, LOL!!!).

It depends on the contents of those stash tabs. Example: A perfect legacy Shav once sold for well over 2,000 exalts in currency + assets (I know this because I am friends with the person who paid this much for a 100% perfect legacy one, and some people are so rich, they would pay that much for a 100% perfect legacy item). Anyways, Someone with one stash tab that contains a perfect legacy Shavs would have greater worth than 84 x stash tabs of wisdom scrolls, hehe, I am just saying this as an example.

Oh, and to further demonstrate how crazy us rich people can be with our currency...

This is a 100% perfect DOUBLE legacy Thief's Torment ring. There were no others like it for sale, and I gave the person exactly what they wanted for their buyout, why? Well, because I could, and I did... I paid him/her 50 x pure exalteds for that ring, hehe, and I don't regret it to this day (I'm a collector if you can't tell by now, and I collect near perfect or perfects of any legacy item I can get a hold of... I am addicted).

Ive never flipped an item, Ive done very little crafting and prior to me joining a guild a week ago I played this game solo for a year and a half.

All you need to do is make a trade thread and list buyouts and the rest is easy, check prices on one of the indexers. Save time by only picking up good bases, try and fit as much IIQ/IIR in your gear without breaking the bank or hurting your clear speed, play the new leagues because the market isn't so flooded.

Why is everyone above 100 exalts flipping? Most of them are actually crafters or play a metric shit ton ect.

Most flippers are the exact same people with multiple accounts or high end flipping at that mass amount.

Majority of +500 exalts people are just people who played a really long time with a large collection of legacy.

That's like saying everyone who is a millionaire a corrupt business that exploit 3rd world countries, when most of them worked for most of their life in opening up a business or doing something that makes them the money. The corrupt evil people are the same people buying up all of the companies.

The problem is one can never truly know for certain what's what... unless they were everyone, but everyone isn't everyone because they are just one... the individual. All we can really say is that you think and that I think. William Shakespeare said it best, "There's nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so" (Hamlet). I can't speak for the majority, btw, but I will say this... people think that 500 to 1,000 exalts is a ton, hehe, that's chump change for some of us, and I've seen/know people like [edit: he/she doesn't want me to name them, so I edited this portion out of respect] with 10/10 mirrors. While the current market on standard is much different than it was before, I can tell you this: back then a handful of us "rich people" had acquired a great portion of our wealth through crafting more so than by any other means. This was before the major high-end uniques, that are legacies now, existed (or some of them were so rare, that some people traded a mirror 1:1 for a Kaom's Heart--before it was legacy of course).

Side Note: Some of us speculated that Mirrors of Kalandra would go up in price, and at certain points in time their purchasing power far exceeded that of ONE unit of Kaom's Heart. Therefore, taking advantage of situations like these (there were many other instances of this), one could increase their purchasing power by incredible amounts, even in a relatively short period of time. Example: I traded kaom's Heart (before it was legacy) for a mirror of Kalandra. I later sold Mirror of Kalandra for 185 exalts, and then I bought another legacy Kaom's Heart for 135 exalts, which leaves me with extra exalts on the side. I originally started with 1 x Kaom's Heart, but now I have one plus a nice amount of currency on the side... now imagine, well, don't imagine, I mean literally, I did this with much more than just one unit... LOL!!! Hence part of the reason I have been able to afford to vaal so many Legacy items over and over... and over... eh, still trying to get that God roll, but let's back on track here... (Note: the vast majority of my Kaom's hearts were acquired when they were worth 30 to 75+ exalts at various intervals of fluctuation, so this one example is simply an example of what I do, but don't get the wrong idea... I hardly ever pay this much for something unless I have made a killing in profits within a reasonable period of time, such that my purchasing power becomes significantly greater so that I can afford to take other calculated risks and still have enough currency to maintain a sate of market equilibrium).

Part of our ability to become obscenely rich rests in the fact that we had also acquired many of these items that became legacies later on. We then sold them at higher rates until we could mass craft items to the point where we entered into a new realm of wealth that the masses could only dream of. So... part of the reason some of us so-called rich people are rich has to do with the fact that we were here before others, and we were lucky enough to acquire various EXTRA legacy items to catapult us into a new league of wealth. Although some of us speculated certain outcomes prior to them occurring, so for some of us it's not entirely just luck...

Don't get me wrong, though, some of us were also very observant of certain trends over time to determine what risks were worth taking and which were too perilous. As time goes on, the gap will continue to grow and grow due in part to this reason; nonetheless, there are many other variables that play a role here, but perhaps that would be for some other time. I must tend to some other affairs (be back when time permits).
