Having found a few exalted orbs, I suppose I don't really count in the "very poor" section by this standard.



If we also counted (and converted) the number of alterations I've hoarded... actually, I have no idea. I'm hoarding them, after all, not trading them.

On the other hand, since I also don't really party much, it's not like I feel poor.

No idea where I stand, frankly. I tend to hover around 10-40 chaos at any given time, but I've also vaaled ~30 ex worth of stuff. I honestly don't know what the point of counting wealth is. If I think of a toy for my character, I save up for it and buy it, rinse and repeat. Sure, I usually have a trading thread, but I don't really put effort into it.

I've found a couple of exalts, and had a blessed day basking in the radiance of RNGesus: I yolo exalted (with my only 2 exalts) the cold damage and accuracy, then vaaled it because wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

But in general, farming is boring and meticulously pricing every good rare I find takes too long. I'd rather just make lots of alts and throw what money I do get at SCIENCE.

I have nothing because I don't hoard. My standard stash is probably worth below 50 ex.

I guess I'm in the poor category.

Yes yes I know I forgot to divine it before vaaling but who even cares.

I guess I'm poor, but it has little to do with my understanding of the economy, and more to do with not wanting to rely on trading. Lots of great items, no currency except what I need to roll maps.

Been playing since closed beta, still very poor. I do very little trading due to poor understanding of an item's worth so I'd rather stockpile any and all uniques rather than risk getting stiffed by someone trying to sleeze me into selling them for less than what they are.

Ironically, the first day open beta came out, I found a mirror of kalandra in act 2 normal. Since I was still thinking about the race prior and how I missed out on the reward, the first thing I did with that mirror is trade it away for demigod's presence.


This is probably the most expensive item I own, with tabula rasa, rat's nest, legacy facebreakers, maligaro's virtuosity, and abyssus behind it. I shall continue to hold the item, now mostly because of its historical value.

The rest of the uniques I have (and I have a whole lot) are probably garbage, though I don't really know since I have a poor grasp on item worth like I said before.

This is net worth - not income. That's a very big difference.

However, I don't agree with your wording is there is no way that stuff would apply to each person in the easily defined wealth categeories.

I don't buy on impulses irresponsibly and I feel like I will be rich if I keep on my current path. You should take the behavioral stuff out.
