Diablo 3 Vs Path Of Exile

as usual when new games that goes for being a AAA title they throw away alot of though and strategy and just go for pure action, in D2 you had to put alot of though into you character build and could hardly just waltz into groups of monster without dying most of the time.
Noone knows how D3 endgame will pan out but i guess it'll be more actiony and just go for pew pew as that is the trend nowadays. Now i can't speak for POE as i haven't tried it but it seems like a damn nice break from every other free onlinegame out there |

" How can a Hack n slash game even be a WoW clone? Both games are completely different in almost every aspect. Color theme and art direction may be similar, but there is nothing wrong with that. Almost all blizz games have unique art style. Because of that they stand out from a crowd. So peeps please stop posting complete nonsense about d3 being a wow clone, because you have no idea what you are talking about. |

D3´s graphics is dated tbh. 5-7 years imho.Poe just "feel" more "real" , D3 sometimes feel/look like another Korean(no offence to you Koreans out there) hack´n slash arpg.Graphically POE and D3 does not even compete in the same division.POE wipes the floor with D3 (well better graphics isn´t always "better" , but POE can easily change thoose things while D3 need to do a massive change.(I know it will be a bit better with AA and more , but the base engine will stay) The armor/weapon look in D3´s inventory could be taken from a late 1990th game. D3 will be good though , its very adictive and the Npc/voices are great. Skillsystem allright.(Hard to really judge atm though , lv cap at lv 13 in beta.) RMAH ? Well , we will see ..But its not the first time it have been done(Korea again) , with very bad outcome. Well , I guess many things will change in both games , still too early to judge . well blizzard has made all their games really casual so im guessing since it will be free more people will lean on PoE over diablo. and for me being able to sell ingame stuff for real money is stupid

Haven't played them yet but, by watching the trailers and the gameplay videos i have to say that PoE gives me a mutch better good old D1/D2 feeling than the new D3.
D3 has such a colourful and "happy" gameplay compared to PoE. D1/D2 gameplay was from the first minute until the end a very dark atmosphere, i really liked that. Also PoE will be for free while D3 is going to cost 50€+ ... so yea, my first choice is obvious: PoE wins. Still i think that way more people are gonna play D3 in the first few month after the release than PoE because it's from blizzard and the title "Diablo" is so damn well known that everyone wants to have it. But nvm, just look at League of Legends (LoL), also free to play, it wasn't that well known 1 year ago but now it's one of the most played games in the world, even more played than WoW as far as the statistics showed me. A certain commentator said that, Torchlight 2 is more Diablo 3 like than diablo 3 itself because the original team who developed d2 went to the company to make torchlight 2, compared to poe, i think it is definitely on par with torchlight 2, and torchlight 2 BEATS Diablo 3!
therefore i reckon path of exile has a huge chance against D3, it probably wont affect D3 but will be very great game indeed |

Actually, I think that's its too early to compare these two games.
What I mean is, they are both not even out yet, both are in a closed beta stage and it's a pretty long way to the release ahead. So, I will personally wait until they will be released, and then I will compare them. |
