Is This Game Still Unplayable Due To Desync?

Yup. The internetz must be savin all the good connection for D3. :P

While you can still play in other playstyles that does not rely on positioning, and manual skill; answer to your question is: yes desynch still makes it unplayable for fast paced (especially melee with mobility skills) chars that focus their survival on manual skills.

"Unplayable" is subjective.

In OP's case, the amount of desync that he experienced was enough to push him to quit. If desync is at the same level as when he last played this game, then he is likely still going to think the game is "unplayable", as desync has not disappeared, even a bit.

So please save your "hur dur L2P" speech. I'm sure the thousands of people who have complained about desync on these forums just need to 'get on your level' amirite? Because you are the end-all be-all decider of what is unplayable and what is not.
