WTF?! Found a fishing rod

Great, so you have a lvl 63 farmer who hasn't leveled once in 2 months, and you didn't lie about the difficulty, you just "joked". Obviously no word on the post where you admitted that you simply don't know how to fish and have no interest because you're only in it for the profit. Got it, thanks for the clarification <3

not sure what you mean about the difficulty , I just said I entered merveil in cruel and used the rod on her, I did not say I found it in merveil cruel.

Ofc I am trying to sell this dam rod,the roah event in maps is near impossible to get and fishes are not in game.

I am saying it is useless.

And yet here you are, lying about how you found it to try and reduce the number of people who will continue to find them in the hopes that it will boost the value of your rod. Time will prove me right, just as it did about the existence of rods to begin with, and just as it will about the use of rods.

I could tell you the same since you sold a legacy kaom for a rod.


Conspiracy theory are fun but the truth is:

-it s a very rare drop
-you don t need a tricorne to find one.
-it drop at level 17
-merveil can drop it
-there is no fish
-there is a special roah event droping a lot of uniques in maps however
-here a gif of me trying fishing in town

I was very open about buying my SotS, but you seem to have completely missed the reason why: Rods can only drop once per league per account. I already found a rod on Standard, I linked it in the thread I already referred to, and it's the first verified rod with correct artwork that was ever linked on the forums..... Knowing that I couldn't get another one to drop, and that you can't get SotS with chance orbs (I tried with well over 50ex worth of chances and scours), my only option was to buy it, and the only thing I had valuable enough was a legacy Kaom's (which was still very cheap for it imo).

To answer your points in the order you made them:

- Yes, it's a very rare drop, but it's also an impossible drop without wearing the tricorne or being in Coward's Trail (because Coward's Trail ignores drop requirements....)

- Yes, you do need a tricorne to find one, unless you're in a coward's trail map. Doing all that other stuff will significantly boost the chances of the rod drop, thereby reducing the time you have to spend farming for it

- Yes, it can drop at level 17, no one ever said it can't (actually it can drop from level 8, because that's the minimum level requirement for a rod)

- Yes, it can be obtained by killing Merveil and her spawn. Merveil, Fairgraves and Jabberjaws once had a love triangle going, you should read about it sometime.

- I know nothing about special rhoa events in maps

Yes, again, look at my first post on this thread, notice how I didn't need to ask what helm you were wearing, and simply asked you to tell everyone else? It's because everyone else who found a rod, including that lolozoziwhatever dude, was wearing one if they found it outside of coward's trail. Everyone, including you and me.
