Played D3:RoS since release till now, heres the results!
" Survival in D3... The only time D3 wasn't full on care-bear mode was back before pre-nerfed Inferno. Also, you only constantly utilize 6 skills because the game simplified the resource management into a binary system of generators and spenders for every class and added a bunch of cool downs. Ignoring of course that every damage dealing active skill is just some scaling iteration of % weapon damage. Now in PoE it is true that there is skill spamming as it is the nature to use the skill or two that the build most heavily invested into. However, I think you've neglected the fact outside of curses and in some cases movement a lot of defensive utility is managed through flasks. So while you may be spamming 1-2 skills for many builds the reality is you are managing a similar number of factors. |

I did not buy into the hype this time. I'll buy RoS but will wait until after the hype. People tend to forget easily, but I am sure the d3 team is wrking hard.

I played the original Diablo and Diablo 2 and I am nostalgic about them both, since I always played them at certain holidays.
However I did not play Diablo 3. Blizzard will never get a cent more out of me. They can take Diablo, and RoS and stick it. They go on for ages how Diablo 3 must be online only and have a RMAH and a loot system where you rarely get any good loot. And they don't budge despite the player outcry, until they release it on console. Only then, they drop the Online-at-all-time requirements, but only for consoles so that they can get more money. Blizzard used to be one of my favorite companies but they are no longer the same company that made Diablo and Diablo 2 and Warcraft 2. Now they are just like EA, they just want to milk your wallet and to hell with the players. I just hope GGG doesn't turn into Blizzard when they become more successful. Seriously GGG should put it on their Mission Statement: We at GRINDING GEAR GAMES, do Solemnly Swear, by the might of mighty KUDUKU, that we shall never ever become BLIZZARD or ELECTRONIC ARTS. Yha but in typical blizard fasion they even managed to fuck up giving people what they want.
With the insane drop rate u could get all gear items pretty fast 2- 4 weeks for hardcore mabey 2 mounths for casual. But idiots managed to even cry about that so now the drop rate is dobeled off the insane drop rate that RoS had to begin with. last satarday i got 11 uniqus in 1 rift run , that's about 5 - 10 miniuts of play time 11 ledgendarys !!!!! WTF ! I mean how the hell do they plan on sustaining any player base with a drop rate so over tuned , it's a bad joke. i was planing on playing d3 very casual for the next littel bit to enjoy finishing off my character however in 2 days last weekend i managed to get BiS items for all gear slots. Now all i can do it get a "better" version of the BiS item. I just don't see any reason to farm that character , or any other 1 for that matter. 11 ledgendarys in 10 miniuts ??? what the hell is so ledgendary about something that drops constantly ? Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time
