no. he didn't RMT, and the whole conversation happened in voice chat.

I think this thread is about me? Wasn't even aware of it since I was probably busy playing the game instead of bickering about elitism... Did that sound elitist? That might be a bit too mean but it seems like there's no changing OP's mind. If you are interested in looking at it from another perspective, let me give you a little background to why those gloves are expensive as they are.

The way I see it is that it's all about risk vs reward with UBER Atziri. If you look at the market and know the prices on Standard, however exorbitant they are then you would know Atziri Set's cost roughly 2.5-3ex with the hardest fragment(midnight) costing 2ex or so. The chance the drop the Mortal Hope piece is around 1:30 or so I've been told and that's if you're lucky. Therefore UBER sets go for roughly 90-100ex. It's not guaranteed that you will even kill the boss and if you rip all 6 portals you're out. Fair enough if you've farmed all the pieces yourself and bankrolled your own operation theres no loss in terms of money but just your time. Say you did manage to kill it and these "500ex Gloves" drop and you already have them or have no need for them should they not be valued highly? As one of the earlier posters said, you are free to go farm those gloves and sell them and make heaps of money if you undercut the current sellers, which is not many.

To my knowledge around less than 10 exist in this server and saying that they are powerful is an understatement. I have personally got 4 glove's drop from 6 set's that I've bankrolled a friend to run. He can confirm http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/902954. If you wanna call out elitism for the sellers of an item that is the definition of only for 'elites' to do, fair enough. I ignored your offer of '2 mirrors' because it is too low, and right now it's a sellers market. I've sold 2 pairs to players that were willingly to instantly purchase them at a price beyond 3 mirrors.

May I ask how someone who played since January, playing in a guild by himself accumulates 2mirrors? Also in one of your earlier posts you said that you traded for them, BY SAVING UP FOR THEM.

Yes I am sure the 150exalts each dropped for you(300ex for around 400days would be 0.75ex per day) which I am sure you got while people who played since cb not yet ever seen one drop. So there are 2 options here how you got those 2 mirrors;

1. Tryhard flipping by fooling new players to sell their kaoms for 10ex to you because it has no resist, armour and no sockets. But if this is true, flipping 2 mirrors to the double shouldnt be realy hard for someone who got that much "flip experience" like you(If that's now how you get the wealth).

2. RMT, thats it.

Some kids get insanely happy by dropping a divine, eternal or exalt while you whine that your 2 mirrors arent enough. Also as STDrakeX said, there's a reason for price being where it is. They may not be worth that much, however there's no reason they wouldnt be sold for the 500exalts most people ask for.

TLDR; Go flip harder and you'll get what you need(Or do what else you do to get 2mirrors)
