Don't play standard then. I also made the wrong investment in that league. What used to be worth a fortune in beta is now just simple pocket change. The market will only get worse as that league drags on. Just leave standard.

Sorry Im never one to brag as I hate to invoke envy(personally don't like being jealous). merely calling out for being called out.

And in response to the Standard league--Ive played the last 2 leagues and decided to sit this one out. I like to play with the shinny's I've collected otherwise it would all be in vein (for me personally, nothing wrong with being ladder dedicated or whatever..).

I can confirm that. And I don't even want to check the time played it took me to save for them. It is my dream to have one drop though.

are you trying to buy the gloves... they are going for 500+ in SC so 2 mirrors is like 340? no wondered you are being ignored. to be honest mate, if you have 2 mirrors you can probably deck out your toon and do uber yourself. Only a very few can do uber, and god knows how many hopes they have wasted, or regrets they have use to min max build, or vaal orb to get +1 level to the gems. So naturally they want something for their return. the Vertex isnt a very useful item far from BiS yet is the most common drop by the looks of things. So you also need to factor in this to compensate for the high price.

If you want to be angry, be angry at GGG gatekeeping the uniques behind levels and levels of RNG thus not making uber easily accessible, but then the gloves are probably more op than coe+shav and they wouldnt want to have tons of them floating around.

Just wait a bit longer, the price will drop, its supply/demand issue. Once more gloves are on the market, price will drop. This will happen as midnight drop rates are being buffed in the next patch, assuming hope drop rate dont get ninja nerfed.

or wait until ambush ends, there are a few gloves already available, and people will have some incentive besides making money to farm this for the t-shirt. Once the leagues are over, they will be sold in standard as these player wait until the next league.

If one dropped would you trade it?
Do the ones you have hold less value to you because you traded for them?

Well crap, if i get an exalt i dont use it. If i somehow got a mirror to drop, I would maybe just fall over dead. I would never use it. I only play hardcore leagues so would be a huge waste when i die. And yes, i die often.

I really have no idea what I would do with a mirror. I would probably trade it away for exalts I guess.

That's kindof my reason for this thread..I just wanted to encourage people not to inflate this monopoly and maybe we can break the pyramid that way so that they can be in reach to everyone ;)

If I were to find a mirror myself- I wouldn't hold it anymore valuable than if I traded for it because it's so much effort to trade for one it's about equal to me. In other circumstances though I am more sentimental about the things that I find or make myself, so I know what you mean.
