PoE really having a shiny future or is it just switching player bases?

Every game with a focus on item acquisition relies on automation at some point or other.
As acquiring the items doesn't actually change the gaming experience. Just enhances it.
So people who have done the treadmill routine a few times already, don't see the point in "doing the work". So they resort to less than TOS acceptable means.
But I'm sure this will get edited quite quickly. Since a frank discussion about the necessity of RMT is absolutely not allowed these days.
They much prefer to keep up a fake façade that fools absolutely nobody.
Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.
We hate to say, but ProjectPT was right.
Cool story, you two. Kind of baseless, but still cool x)
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Thanks whitebro. Really needed your input in this thread. Was well worth the wait.
No sarcasm at all.

why baseless?

i just checked invasion section on well known rmt forum

one player is liquidating his gear because he ripped
it is obvious he ripped because he can't equip posted gear: level requirements don't allow him to equip it, everything is red

he posted several dozens of items in full with background overlay, with stash tabs names,
with everything

he stated specifically that he is trading for in-game currency but accepts rmt currency as well
all prices posted in both currencies: chaos and rmt currency

there is one reply, player is willing to trade in rmt currency and him acknowledging it

how do we know he ripped?

well, it doesn't take a genuius because HIS RMT NICKNAME EQUALS HIS IN-GAME NAME
and you can check Invasion ladder, and his profile and indeed find lvl NN character in Standard League with the same level and name as his ripped character in Invasion League ladder

poestatistics on his name says his RIP date and he poster rmt thread next day

he also have lvl 1 char in Invasion to be able to post his gear for sale

can all of the above be a coincidence?

maybe

or maybe not

googling his name (which is the same as his in-game name, again) shows that he has been active in SC, HC, Nem, Inv since April 2013 at least

so how do you explain that phenomen?

ggg can't look at their own database of items and can't setup trigger when item changes hands?

What a waste. well not exactly a waste as it's just virtual, more of an eWaste.
