I understand now why multiboxing is "excepted"

Maybe if they give loot Options to group play when in a group then there will be no need to multi-box/multi-client ie get rid of FFA and give some other option's.

That way at least you would have a chance at getting your loot but that's another argument.

Not saying it will stop it but may go towards it.

Also i am not against it either way.

In any sport, and yes video games are a e-aport. Any "edge" is determined cheating.

So multi-boxing is the same as injecting steroids in your nads to do better in sports. It gives a "edge" and that player is removed and fined.

Any idiot can multibox with a single keyboard and mouse, It is not hard just has a initial period of bs while you lvl all the same char to endgame on different accounts.

No multiple pc's are needed, This game is not all that hardware dependant.

All in all some ppl are pathetic and have to cheat on everything and everybody, Just like laws their will always be a asshat abusing the system.

What happened to pride of work? playing legit and being on top, Thats a better feeling than running 3rd party software to get a edge.

I think you dont know what Esports actually is? Esports is a game wich has a worldwide/national teams playing for thetop nr 1 spot, for prices or just for fame, and is activly broadcasted and covered. Poe is NOT an Esport game.

how do you consider setting up multiple accounts cheating? anyone can do it without any difficulty. as long you dont control your chars with a Keybot, then whats the big deal?

Indeed, and where a game is an eSport there tends to be strict rules defining what players can and cannot do on that platform.

It's worth noting however that many games are eSports, yet allow players to multibox in the "normal" game. You cannot, for example, compare the average World of Warcraft player to those that play at Blizzard's Invitationals; they are two different types of player, playing for very different reasons. Multiboxing is allowed in World of Warcraft, but not at an eSport level. How does this reality factor in to your reasoning???

"A keybot" ? I guess you mean a repeater? Repeating keystrokes is fine, and allowed as your 1 keystroke causes 1 action in game, you are controlling all the characters, there is no bot involved.

as long your not using any Scripted programs your OK

i play Poe with a g13, so in a way according to many people here, i would be cheating since i have all my keys macro'd. and thats a bit silly

Also to the guy arguing about the deffinition of multiboxing, it's simply when you have more than 1 instance of the game opened. Doesn't matter if you bot or play the chars manually, it's multiboxing regardless.

Indeed. Multiboxing isn't the same as botting, but one could do both at the same time, with certain programs. It seems that some of the people arguing were actually trying to say the same thing. :)

It is very unethical behavior and tells alot about you as a person.
