I understand now why multiboxing is "excepted"

Same here. Would like to see a dev's perspective on it and what they think.

I just fail to see how someone else multi-boxing in anyway shape or form affects your gameplay experience.

It doesn't, stop pretending that it does and ignore it.

Its not stoppable anyway, so ignore it.

The only multiboxing there is in PoE is one main character that kills everything and 5 useless characters that just stand there to increase the drops.

It's really hard to even have just two characters following each other because your characters can't overlap each other unlike some games (WoW for example).

I like everyone, I just hate muti-boxing because it'ss an unethical way to play a game.

Why can't they overlap? There isn't any player character clipping as far as I know.

Also, people need to stop saying "multi-boxing" when they're talking about multi-client use. They aren't the same thing.

I think the easiest way to describe multiboxing (something I do and enjoy, although only with two accounts as anything more is crazy to control) is with a picture.
Some people seem to be under the impression multiboxers use something magical that automatically uses skills, drinks potions, moves out of danger and attacks for all the 'extra' characters. This is simply not true, we have to press every button and move each character to make things work. Sometimes this is achieved using software or hardware that 'broadcasts' one movement to all clients.



However the movement or key press still has to be done manually. Just like playing one charter at once except the interactions you have with the game just happen to line up across multiple characters (if you are lucky/good).
