How do you justify being a PoE "no-lifer" in the new leagues?

My first character got to 73 in 23 hours. Thats 4 hours a day x 6 which was actually 3 hour a day and then weekend. My second character is at 67 in about 12 hours. Not exactly no lifing it, I got 10 hour work day + 1.5 hour commute. Would easily be around 78 if had not rerolled. Gotta be 87+ to really be no lifing it.

I took 5th in a week race without taking any time off of work. It's all about maximizing your time in game if you can't devote 20 hours a day.

edit: and I work full time btw.

Was that a race in closed beta?

Then GGG has a very unbalanced game when you can cruise to high levels in a group and struggle to reach 70+ solo for similar time played. This just gives more credence for the SFL or some form of a Solo League. Not everyone should be required to group to get to high levels or have to solo 16+ hours a day.

struggle to get to 75?

It takes very little dedication to get to level 75 solo self found. I got to level 75+ in the one week race, worked my job more than 40 hours that week, and I started 2 days into the week long race, played solo the entire time, with no trades (I did make one trade that week for a gem, but I think that was in domination, not the race).

If you are struggling to reach level 75, I might suggest to take a break from farming merveil and actually work on leveling for awhile, that is the only way I can picture you not making it to level 75 in 20-30 hours of gameplay.
Hey...is this thing on?

I wish i could take a break from my work and my band and play poe all day, i bet i would be way higher then my humble 84.
@OP, why do you even care? Why concern yourself with what others choose to do or not do with there time? Seriously? Then, calling players "No-Lifers" because they play x amount of hours/day or because they achieve higher level then yourself in a shorter period of time.

Instead of worrying about what others do, maybe you should look inward and discover what it is about yourself that makes you so concerned about what others do/play or how they choose to spend there time.

I am back and I am ready to reply, didn't you see that most streamers are high level and you tend to see high level streamers playing with people? when it comes to mapping and leveling its a lot easier to have 6 high damage build to kill things quickly than 1 person killing things 1 by one.

its hard to balance that as 6 people is cheaper than 1 person, even with maps its cheaper to have rotation of map going on than having to farm buncha level 71+ maps from lvl 70 maps.... its just too hard to do so.

it also depends on builds too, if people are playing bow or melee builds it can be bit problematic compared to spell builds like EK or FP.

My reasons for creating this thread is so GGG does not just hear feedback from the uber hardcore fan boys on how wonderful everything that GGG does. PoE is very far from a perfect arpg. PoE was supposed to be the true successor to D2 that D3 failed to be and all the blah, blah, blah hype. I started playing CB PoE back in November of 2012 and I really enjoyed CB, so much so that I bought a Kiwi pet just before OB. Since then I've had some great times including last summers playing of the Anarchy League in June of 2013 in a trio with my 2 best friends (Good News GGG!: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/428803). With the release of PoE 1.0.0 GGG has decided to sail the PoE ship into very dangerous waters to the delight of the uber hardcore but not so much for the rest of the PoE fans. Many, many technical problems still exist that GGG has decided to pretty much ignore and focus on adding more bling and flash to try and gloss over problems we all encounter every time we play (please, don't keep telling me it's an ocean sized problem to cross, these problems will be the death knell of PoE). For this and other factors GGG is/has turned it's back on many a loyal CB PoE player and has lost millions of players in the process. This hurts the whole of PoE, both GGG and the players and as the time grind ever increases with new harder content and with rewards pretty much staying flat-lined the "fun" for the less than uber hardcore PoE fans is dieing.
I hated D3 and wish I has seen the reviews on Metacritic before wasting $60 USD on it but my 2 best friends and I had played D2 for many years, had enjoyed it immensely, and were chomping at the bit to play D3 thinking "it's Blizzard, they must have a great successor to D2". Wow, were we ever wrong! So then PoE comes up in arpg conversations and an unknown indie game company in NZ has the answer to our D3 failure blues. So I play it, love it, recommend it, we all 3 play Anarchy, they get overwhelmed too much too often (they are more casual players than me), quit before finishing Merciless, and I solo on.
So here I am after patch 1.1.0 playing Ambush, loving the new strong boxes and corrupted zones, hating the corrupted skills for the quantity of souls needed to charge them up, still pissed off over desync, still hating shitty loot drops for tough bosses, hating crap loot from large chests, still loving the passive tree, still hating trade chat (I do know that GGG is working on it and keep hoping that soon we'll get a better way to buy/sell items), and still posting in the vain (maybe too naive) hopes that GGG somewhere deep down cares for the welfare of the non uber hardcore fans (even Darth Vador had a good force within him, the dark side hadn't eliminated it all) and still reads their own forums and not just Reddit posts.
So yes, I'm cynical and somewhat bitter over GGG taking PoE down the uber hardcore path to hell, and wonder how many others can justify the lesser rewards for time played since CB PoE had such a bright future. After all, GGG was supposed to be the David that knocked out the Goliath Blizzard but that is becoming less and less likely to happen.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat:
