Grim Dawn

I'm still debating on buying a supporter pack to get Alpha/Beta access or not. $50/85 seems to be an awful lot of money for a $20/$20 expansion game. I like everything I read so far on them on their forums, just wish it had secure servers for the mods. Guess I'd have to treat it like TL2 and not play with others.

Up to you if you want to go for $50/85 tier (You are also getting some in-game items, and other stuffs). You are essentially supporting Crate to make a better game just like.................PoE. I mean I supported PoE, which obviously was going to be F2P, for $250. It is an awful lot of money for a free game. This is a matter of being subjective. No one will blame you if you do not want to get the $50/$85 tier.

Also, the game is going to be like TL2 (well, more like TQ:IT), but better and darker. In a sense, there will not be secure servers. Crate does not have funds to maintain a server of that magnitude.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

these guys are serious about this game we have a winner no doubt. this engine that they have is dark fine tuned engine, they have been tunning this alpha for 2 yrs , an the atmosphere in this game is the best arpg atmosphere yet. i play poe usually single player or with my wife or my best friend with globle chat on, makes me feel like im in a mmo, but latley these spam/selling sites got me pissed off because regardless of you turning them off the server still suffers from them so going in a privet game with 2 other people will be amazing, an if i feel like multiplayer then ill join or make a game. grim dawn will be the darker better arpg i think, the classes in grim dawn an the inhanced classes, level design an concept smoke whats out now.sad thing is, poe i watched this beta game grow to 2 million people tons of stuff to buy which means profit which is a great thing for these guys, but their is one tiny fail no optimisation on servers, no microstutter an d sync fixes and read /load asset of spells like totem summoning is still horrible these things will be already worked out in grim dawns alpha. just seems with the explosion of people i notice no engine fixes since i started july 1 2012, so 50 doller support pack i bought for grim dawn. here i come alpha!

I enjoyed titan quest. Looking forward to this game, but wow, it's taking quite a few years to make it just to alpha, let alone final release!!!

Heh, game development takes a lot of time, PoE took how much, 5 or 6 years now and its also not released yet.
Been following Grim Dawn for close to 2 years now, and i've got to admit, it's frustrating to wait.
I'm just trying to forget about it for a while, so that i'll be gladly surprised when I hear it's out in alpha or beta state.

200 level cap!
Grim Dawn looks awesome.
Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.

Velocireptile - I LOL'ed. Which made me fart. I wish the office were empty right now :(

Hardlicker - I had to push the dog out of the way so I could get to the sexy quilt.
