...kinda pay to win? I guess. I mean PoE is releasing new content without making us pay for it.

I'd rather agree with Ely...pay to win, no thanks.

Apparently neither you or elynole read or understand what they're saying or proposing.

You guys are taking things out of context.

If you aren't satisfied with your build, you can pay money. Does it specifically mention, say, a real online transaction? Perhaps it was referring to in game cash.

Additional characters = expansion. Nothing wrong with that.

Don't know where you came up with the random $0.50 bit, blind copy pasting I guess.

What is this talk of downloadable content?
When many people hear the term downloadable content they are filled with fear and rage. They imagine having to charge $0.50 to their credit cards everytime they buy a new item. This is not what we imagine. This is a downloadable game, so it makes sense that when we release expansion packs, they will also be downloadable. These expansions will be similar to a normal boxed game-expansion in that they will generally contain new story elements, classes, enemies, items, and new regions of the world to explore.

Sorry for my english dudes! D:
I been waiting for this game a long time. I supported their Kickstarter and hope the game will be good. A good aRPG to me is a mix of D3 and PoE and Grim Dawn looks to be just that. Being a single player game with no desync, lag and other PoE and D3 problems will be a huge bonus.

I hope the game is extremely successful and becomes the #1 aRPG after it is released, at least for all of use that don't care about playing in groups.

Y'know I've been wondering if the current conception of ARPG's as primarily online, multiplayer things is an inevitable evolution of the genre or a historical accident. If certain design decisions in D2 had been different I wonder if ARPG's would have ended up like more like action roguelikes than what they are today (to be clear, the genre today does not at all resemble an action roguelike, for an example of that look at Binding of Isaac). I've not played D1, but I understand that it was far closer the what most people would consider a roguelike than D2 and the rest of the genre.
This game can't come soon enough.

Path of Exile also has this feature, but it's implemented in such a way you can't get too many orbs, so it's a balance between being able to respec enough to clear up grievous mistakes but you can't redo entire characters realistically.

I have confidence Crate will likewise get it right.

The rest, out of context, etc. as pointed out by previous posters.

Really why are people who haven't followed the development of this game making silly claims about it?

lol makes me wonder is he was misquoting on purpose. I don't see anything that says this game is pay to win. Titan Quest was pretty good I imagine I will give this a shot.
