Grim Dawn

So i found this game while i was walking on the net.
What you guys think of it? Looks like it worth a try, however i have no feedback to make my opinion...
It's made by the folks who made Titan Quest.

So if you've played that you already have a reference point.
It is a long way from anything concrete. However the devs are adequately funded to get to beta. I have been following their site and update posts for a while now. I don't know what more to tell you than I sent them some money. I think they are going o make a fun game.
So looking forward to it. TQ = best arpg ever.
They will have buyable microtransactions that enhance your character, ultimately pay-2-win. No thanks.

1. Source? I follow the game and have never heard this.

2. How could they get anyone to buy it? It is a single player offline game with a multiplayer component. It is not a closed server online only game.

3. It wouldn't matter anyway someone who wants to cheat in MP will just hack, similar to TL 2.

Source on this?

I thought they were going the Torchlight route, 20$ and unsecure multiplayer.
Where do microtranssactions fit in there?

I respectfully submit that this is correct and our fellow POE enthusiast is somehow misinformed. Grim Dawn is more about a story in a steampunk fantasy world than anything. It is more about the story and ambience in single player than competitive online play.
I think it's going to be a fun little game for the solid single player and ambiance. I didn't send them any money yet because I like to try before I buy...
PoE will be keeping me busy for a while, but I'm sure I'm gonna try it once it comes out. I absolutely loved Titan Quest and look forward to seeing what they'll accomplish. I'm not too keen on the steampunk world so far tho. Hopefully it won't be a mess like Silverfall.
