GGG Marketing Guy would love your ideas!

I look at bluesnews.com for gaming and computer news.
Tech guy
The places I get my gaming news are Youtube, Reddit, Twitch, and game forums. I first heard about PoE on a Diablo fansite forum.

I agree that having an official presence on Twitch would be awesome. It would be really cool to have a live stream that rotated through all of the devs/employees playing the game. Having it daily might not be realistic but it could be a few times a week, even if it was only for like an hour. I really loved the old playthroughs from Chris and Jonathan on Youtube and would love to see more of that.

Since you already are on Steam, I won't suggest them. ;)

1. However, GGG keeping an active presence on the PoE Steam forums would be real good.
This way those that go to those forums to decide whether to d/l the game will see an active dev presence that isn't the "Official Forums". Meaning they/you care.

2. How about an info-commercial for public access stations around the US nation? ;)

3. $5 T-shirts for us PoE geeks to wear for you.

4. Invent a PoE cereal to display your game all over the box in the cereal isles.

5. Get a company car and do up a PoE paint job, just right... then crash it into a bus in a big city. Finally have it transform into a robot and give the bus mouth to... oh, nevermind.

This is very clearly a SUGGESTION thread. You guys move my threads into oblivion every possible chance you get - so I demand you move this to where it should be located.

And yes: I'm very serious.

This needs to get moved, please. Thanks Mods.

He's not making a suggestion...

He's asking for them. This is why your stuff gets moved. You don't understand where posts should be in the first place.

Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

Learn the rules, it's the only way to exploit them.

Meh - not going to argue with you. Clearly you've chosen a side and regardless of facts and logic you will say what you like.
Back on topic: Marketing guys should avoid posting in places where users can respond with comments. It's just an invitation to get an otherwise quality statement torn apart and derailed by users with an ax to grind.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

This isn't, in fact, "back on topic" - but way to try to be condescending and trivialize. (slow clap)
I didnt sort through all the pages, but I usually get my gaming news fix from kotaku.

Also, im not sure how much it costs to do, but nvidia has game advertisements in thier driver install. Ive found a few cool games from that, might want to look into it.
HAIL SATAN!

You can waste all money in the world it won't have any effect on declining playerbases if the game has fundamental flaws.

Remove them and you don't need much marketing.

Remember Daikatana? The game had massive marketing and has been sold for 20$ after 2 months.
On the other side Ion Storm had another game without much marketing and it's listed in several lists on "Best Games Ever".
