All I know is that of these 2x games, one of them will reward the player for their time.
One of them supports self found... in that time vs reward instead of "herp derp YOU CAN SO PLAY SOLO" (fineprint: you just won't get very far very fast doing it) Take a wild guess which one I just threw my money at. ;) Last edited by Isbox1#3280 on Feb 17, 2014, 4:39:28 PM

There was a lot of RoS hype when the beta started and people were streaming it on Twitch. A few of my friends and me were excited about it and wanted to buy it and try it out on launch after being very disappointed in the original game.
Then some high profile streamers were sent to Blizzard HQ and later created an in-depth analysis of everything that is wrong with the game and how nothing is getting fixed in RoS. Since then, I haven't heard any hype over it and my desire to play the expac is long gone. PoE mini expac + Dark Souls 2 is all I'm looking forward to. |

Some people in this thread act like RoS will be the holy grail of ARPGs... they're in for a lot of disappointment :)
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

" I imagine it'll be very similar to D3, multiple millions of players first week then struggling to hit 30k players per day after a week. The rate at which D3 died was so fast it's probably unheard of. There were more players on D2 after 2 weeks of D3. |

Blizzard doesn't need people to keep playing the game. They just need people to buy the game. Millions will purchase the game and a huge number will leave after a week. I quit D3 to play PoE and haven't looked back. I just wish PoE could have 10% of the revenue generated by RoS. They deserve it.

Blizzard has a legion of fanboys and quite a namebrand and can sell just about anything they produce, even if it happens to suck.
