I don't trade all that much. I post a trade thread maybe once a month and consistently get hits on it. But hey, whatever bullshit you feel like spewing is fine with me. The more retards that think the only valuable items in the game are uniques, the better as far as I'm concerned.

Rules of thumb about the economy :
=> Nothing has a fixed price, unless something is forcing it to. The meat you're eating, his price come from the stock market. => If something is actually overpriced, he'll come down in time. If something is actually underpriced, he'll come up in time. If something has little fluctuations but is selling, this is his actual balanced price. => Crying won't change anything about it. If everybody else is willing to spend $X on one item, there's no reason you don't spend $X on the same item. |

The highest b/o listed in xyz is the lowest price an item DOESN'T sell for. It has little to do with the actual value.

If an item is overpriced it will eventually come down because most people won't pay it and if people want to sell those items they will have to lower the price.

Before claiming poe.xyz fvked the economah, consider that without that site service nobody would actually trade in this game, because the game has no trading tools outside the horrid chatspam.
And while GGG is "making improvements to trade" (for a year+ now), poe.xyz is keeping people playing Path of Exile, else the playerbase would be maybe half of what it is now, because everybody would quit over the impossibility to trade... GGG should buy a supporter pack for poe.xyz When night falls
