iron reflexes vs full evasion

i doubt that a lot of people are using double flasks vs white monsters.

and you could only have 50k armor if you also run determination alongside if you only have 3kbase armor+6nodes.

assuming that you get ~100% from the 6 passives, and you have two perfect flasks, that is still just 9k*3=27k armor.

and again, physical, as long as there is immortal call isnt that big of an issue.

the real advantages of armor vs evasion are that they proc things like cwdt/cos much easier and that they dont need that high of investment (in my aura build with double flask running i have close to 80k armor, things STILL hurt)

If there are 3-4 tough map mods and you feel like you need it to run safely, then why not.
I personally don't.

Yeah, Determination is almost like a must, we're talking about armour builds after all.

True, the CWDT + IC is really OP, I can't believe GGG lets that happening.

If physical damage still hurts at 80k, I don't know what to say... I'm on ~13k usually without flasks, and I rarely feel anything. And when there are potential hard hitting monsters in a map with some damage modifiers, I just pop my flasks, no worries.
If i had to resume the pro and cons for evasion it would be :

Pro :
- touched very rarely by attacks (collateral effect curse on hit mobs are less a problem, but u will trigger ur own skill with CwdT less often)
- negates most crits
- less damage taken overall
- good synergy with Acrobatics nodes
- almost negates projectiles attacks with Ondar.

Cons :
- weak against physical damage, if spells even more.
- need a high amount of life to avoid a one shot.
- usually less endurances charges available.

Go evasion. lightning Coil/MoM and some endurance charges and you'll have the same resistance to spike damage as armor but might never actually get the spike hit you.

80k is with pots, its been a while since I've logged into the character, but I think its around 40-50k armor without.

You are not hanky because of your armor, you are tankybecause of your block and life. I have 0 block passives and 3.5k life. But with 77% resists, extra x damage as fire/cold/light melts me p.e., or in heavy hitting monsters, mitigating a 4k hit to half still means I die in the next white mob that hits me.

That's why you can't possibly compare armor vs evasion in a vaccum. Both armor and evasion are 100% useless by themselves.
By order of importance imo:
Block
Life

THEN start comparing full builds, p.e. evasion characters will usually utilize blind, while armor character get more casts out of cwdt for the same amount of hits and most importranly can utilize aurora

And etc.
