Attack speed and movement speed are irrelevant anyways. ARPG's and MOBA's (or whatever we are calling them) use completely different methods for how the character is controlled. Comparing an ARPG to a MOBA is therefore useless.

I like threads like this one because it's always the same. Someone says that they don't experience desync in another game. Then people tell them that they can't compare that other game to PoE because PoE is totally different. I think people had this discussion for each and every other online game out there already.

Seriously, it looks like some people actually believe that desync is a result of PoE's uniqueness and not of it's poor netcode.

I actually explained in detail earlier in this thread exactly why they are different.... It has nothing to do with coding. It also has nothing to do with Path of Exile being unique. It has to do with the two genre's of games using completely different systems. Kind of like how League has a different movement system as opposed to shooters like CoD....

Sure lets compare: any champ in LoL can reach 2,5 attack per second in LoL.
As for cast speed, every cast is instant unless it is stated otherwise.

Action that takes place in LoL in end of match is 10x faster than what happens in PoE with all the flash, dive, skill use. A 0.5 sec late reaction from a player results in serious loss as majority of buffs last 1,5 - 4 seconds only, and a good portion of skills are instant cast.

Dont deceive yourself by thinking PoE is the only fast game.

You want to see speed? Go pick Lucian (he is free to play this week) his ulti can fire 40+ shots that are NOT AUTO targeting in 3 seconds WHILE HE KEEPS MOVING! And guess what? ZERO DESYNCH.

That is B.S. PoE controls are almost same as LoL. Only difference is PoE mouse clicks can be assigned a skill other than auto attack, while LoL champ skills are all on hotkeys. Everything else is same.

That's my point. No matter what game you compare to PoE - when talking about desync - there is always someone who will explain in detail why they think the two games are different and why you can't compare them. Neither the genre nor the age of the other game matters.

It's funny that PoE seems to be so special, isn't it?
