I know you don't care about future of this game, but i did. So stop talking about "cry" please, this is no cry thread, it's general discussion about GGG_NEON promote the abuse mechanic.

I still don't get how the way other people play the in PvE affects you? Is there really a reason to get so worked up? At least legacy unique criers have an excuse in the form of PvP, what is your?

That's sad people want this skill nerfed or whatever. I mean, it is doing what it states it's supposed to do right? If it does no damage, and applies damage as freeze instead, what's the problem. That is what the skill is supposed to do. If people use support gems, or passive points or gear to enhance this, I certainly see things as working as intended.

I see this skill getting nerfed though due to all the people crying about it. People find something, they make it work, it gets broadcasted and is labeled as "abused" by players who are either mad their supposed skill can't do what is being done, or they just like to see anything that is suddenly a viable option for others get destroyed.

Word of advice to anyone that makes a build that is "OP" or superior to others: Don't post it or stream it. These people will just cry for it to be nerfed.

can someone pls tell me what we are supposed to do then? cause if u cant do this who can really kill thos boss exept aegis aurora builds?

my 2 cents here.

1. There is a mechanic in the game that allows to faceroll bosses. Ok, if it was the ONLY part of the problem (what is freeze mine for if it doesnt freeze shit), BUT!:

2. the bosses are INTENTIONALLY designed and buffed and buffed and buffed in latest patches to provide CHALLENGE. They are hard as fuck if you dont use freeze and MOST builds are UNABLE to kill some of bosses. And this actually FORCES players into freeze mechanics, esp. on hardcore leagues.

So the second point completely crosses out the original PoE philosophy that made the game so freaking good: FREEDOM OF CHOICE. There always were and always will be builds that are ten times more effective than others, but the point of PoE was to have fun with what you want. However, when all these non-mainstream builds become unable to do content, this philosophy goes to trash. The next step will be to throw away useless skilltree, gem linking system, but wait!... we already have such game, I think you all know it well.

In this case it does. If GGG designs bosses (overly buffed, spike damage) to be cheesed, then there is no point to fight them "the right way".

Everybody is supposed to use freeze mine, it seems.

Alt-F4 kind of "balancing".

It is quite obvious what such game mechanic is broken beyond imagination, but the most ridiculous is what it promoted by GGG staff.

Watched etup stream, expected hard content, its Nemesis with all this hard mobs mods after all, should be hard, but nah, walk in frozen park. Closed stream after 5 minutes. Wonder how you can even die there.

i dont really care tbh , if someone wants to make it easy for himself and his grp he will do so.
i for one will resort to manmode and use no crowdcontrol whatsoever besides enfeeble / tempochains

have you even bothered to check what these streamers play with ? lol they could actually solo the boss but they are BAD so they need a grp for it.

if i see a guy with almost 10k hp afraid to solo a map i want to cry.
