Why do people continue to say cash-shop is "cosmetic only"?

OP didn't even play the game yet. Look at this name, no "Beta Member". GTFO troll.
I most say that GGG is extremely generous in how much we get without paying, 24 character slots!!
In Diablo 2 it was 6, in Diablo 3 it is 10 we get 24, that's allot. And for the stash we get 4 tabs, for free, in Diablo 2 there was 1 tab, Diablo 3, 4 tabs, that you had to pay gold for.
honestly i didnt know it was 24 till the ob patch notes. i figured mebbe it was like 5 or 10 and i just only have my 2 characters :D

24 OMFG right i will be renting out character slots.
mebbe even rent out 1 of my 4 stash tabs :D

logicliker: I can't even be bothered to explain to you why what you said is an enormity. I just replied here to express my feeling that you might be just trolling us. A D3 fan maybe?
My article promoting PoE:

Running PoE on an Intel i5 2500K, Radeon 7950 OC, SSD Vertex 3 MI, 8 GB RAM.
I'm also a Software Engineer and Indie Game Developer ::- ). Go Go GGG!!!

There is however, one tiny change: The regret is no longer worth a chaos orb, or the alch has just become higher than a chaos. As you probably know, or not otherwise, the price of an alch is now a regret orb.

TL;DR: The regret has just been devalued. Or the alch is more expensive than a chaos now.

Just because you can trade a Regret for an Alch at the vendors doesn't mean they're equal value. Trading at the vendor is always a bad deal. You always lose value with vendor trades. So trading a Regret for an Alch simply means that a Regret is worth more and can never be worth less.

works for me. I should have realized that the vendors never give good deals before I opened my big mouth. Thanks for confirming that, at least.

Sure, sure... especially when Greust sells me a 6-socket crap-stat bow for one Transmute and I can resell it instantaneously(!) for seven Jewelers, netting close to... seven Jewelers. Sounds like a very good deal, says Mr Anderson.

They are already doing us a huge favor by not giving any real advantage to people with money stop your crying.
