Why do people continue to say cash-shop is "cosmetic only"?

You are mixing up convenience and advantage.

Advantage would meant, well, and advantage in a competitive environment, it. PvP.

Extra stash tab does not constitute as an advantage because it doesn't make you any more competitive than you would be without them. And this is simple logical reasoning, not semantics.

If you want an example of having an advantage, try Maple Story where the only way to get a high stat or "godly" equipment is to fork out hundreds of dollars. And if you can afford that, you will have an advantage over others. That's pay to win.

You should be grateful that you're being allowed to open two clients and transfer some items in this manner. Or you could donate 10 dollars get a few extra tabs and save yourself all of the inconvenience of having to faff about with two accounts.

to be honest i thought the same thing until i went into the game and saw how much room my stash has in it.

i still have not filled up my stash and i have like 50 copies of lvl 1 freezing pulse.

keeping it organised is another story.

compare default poe stash tabs to diablo 2 stash tab..
yeah, its way more.

he has a valid argument but GGG removed the recipe that uses rare item names and continues to try and limit advantage of having more tabs beyong more space to store things.

but i think mules have always been so silly.
i have never used a mule in diablo 2.

um no its not removed. The new alch recipe is 2 rares with same rare names and 20% quality. That is coming direct from the recipe sale book.
