Why do people continue to say cash-shop is "cosmetic only"?

I don't understand why GGG & GGG fans continue to say this game has "ethical" microtransactions, and the cash-shop is "cosmetic" only, when there's a *clear* advantage to having more stash tabs without having to mule.

Do stash tabs help you kill bosses? Cosmetic and convenience would be more appropriate, but there is no advantage to more stash tabs.

Stash Tabs don't make you kill monsters and bosses easier. They are just an option. They aren't game braking.

Also the3 fact that you can have straight on 24 characters as pack mules of your items,makes it all the hell relevant.Have i mentioned 24 free char spots?You here talking about the stash and how it affects us before you even try it?

It's not buying power. You can't do anymore damage or gain more hp, or any other advantage, with stash tabs.

This game is free to play. ANY player can have unlimited stash tabs, you just make more accounts!

Its not that big of a deal. And yes the devs are ethical about it.

Are you even going to try the game?

Convenience is very different to P2W. All you're buying is saving yourself the effort of making mule accounts for your items. And it isn't likely that you will get much of them anyway over the normal course of things. Loot only starts increasing in quantity and quality at around the time of end normal and beginning of cruel, without IQ and IR gear.

The only possible advantage is muling lots of rares to make alchs and regals, but you're also forgetting that they are a whetstone and scrap sink for recipes. And in any case, if you're going to sell a rare, you will get a better direct price for it if it happens to be good. It's just another way of recycling crappy rares nobody will buy.

Frankly, you will make more money selling 4l gear and up and actually *good* rares for orbs in the trade chat or trade forum.

Do your homework *before* making baseless accusations.

While it's a bit inconvenient, I believe you can also create additional accounts for free...with 24 characters slots each, and have even more mules that way.

GGG selling stash tabs is merely a convenience that does the same thing as creating a new free account. except GGG benefits from the sale of points that are used to purchase the extra stash tabs.
