boring :S

I really like self found games like The Legend of Zelda, Assassin's Creed. These games being very good, I don't see myself playing them in 1 year. Because I know that with little dedication I will reach the 100% completed mark.

And I also really like a ARPG game because it is nearly impossible to beat it and I like it that way because I still want to play it in 1 year.

That is why asking for droprates is pointless. Asking for it is asking for a shorter game.

so in short you say that the longevity is based on artificial time tax..

that game is 'fun' because it is 'long' and it is 'long' not because there is so much content, but there is just so much time tax.

btw. there are so many possible builds in poe that youd be playing it in a year easily if you went for 'gameplay'. i have most gear (not great, but 'enough') i need and i still play- because gameplay is fun. but moments when i want to 6s something and i KNOW that it is a time tax event disconnected from any skill and progression then i start to wonder

if you stop playing when you get all the uniques.. then there is a problem

issue with most gamers nowadays is that someone sold them that bs 'economy in games is good' stuff and they simply cannot fathom a game without one.. they simply reject it. sad days when the 'gameplay' is a minor feature of various trading simulators (used mainly to make IRL money)

i want sfl because i

a) dont like my enjoyment of a game depends on random 13yo 'businessmen'
b) dont like EXTREME rng tuned to this game having 'an economy'
c) dont like the notion that im FORCED to party to play high end maps. currently with map rng solo players HAVE to trade for maps when they get a bad map rng
d) dont like wasting time paying 'time tax' that is artificially included to 'balance the economy' (extreme drop rates)
e) i dont think that 'wasting time' is equal to 'working for it' - this strange notion brought up by some saying that you have to 'work for' your 6L - as in farming 12000fusings.. that has nothing to do with 'work' nor 'skill' - it is simply time tax imposed by 'economy reasons'

strangely this game is more about 'economy' than 'gameplay'

and the fact you DO NOT NEED TO PLAY this game to get best gear tells a lot about how 'hardcore' it is

it is trade simulator with 'slay-the-monsters' mini-events currently

and id like to play that slay the monsters because it seems quite fun, but it is butchered because of 'economy'

THIS!
+1
To make 6l need 10k fus? Rly? WTF IS THAT!? Craft? When you spend tons ete + ex and get just 1 fine mod... lol.
On standard 6k+ fus and Dom 3k+ fus and NOT ONCE I GET 6l, worth it? NO!

Ok haha seems I have been successful at my attempt. Thank you mate.

I remind you, if you choose to play self found why does the fact that others trade affect YOU?

Self found is a choice made for more replay-ability and more fun. I don't trade often, but I don't care AT ALL about that guy with 150 Chaos. It doesnt affect my gameplay.
So instead of just not trading you want an entire new league just so you can pretend you're better at the game? Play self found in normal leagues, it's not hard and you can easily do maps self-found, and decent player could demonstrate that at any time, the only thing stopping kids from doing well is their own lack of any skill, just look at racers get to cruel in some of the longer races, or people playing self found in 1 weeks, it's easy, a league just for self found isn't going to make you magically know what gear to use, how to make a decent build, what to use orbs on, etc.
