boring :S
" nailed it. It's the real reason they all want it. They want easy mode drop rate increase. It has nothing to do with "self found" aspect. If they truly wanted to play self found they'd already be doing it in an existing league. Nothing stopping them. |

Only total morons would think that a balanced SFL would be "easier" than the trade simulator we have now.
" Still waiting to hear whats wrong with that other than lies and exaggeration from people pretending that being able to trade for anything is somehow easier than only getting gear from drops. " And your still completely ignoring everyone who wants a SFL that would NOT be easier than what we have now. If you take out trading then you can improve the drop rates without the game becoming easier. That is common sense. Standard Forever Last edited by iamstryker#5952 on Dec 17, 2013, 1:58:14 PM

" lol thats the funniest excuse i've heard yet. One SFL thread is cluttering the forums! Oh no, your experience is so shattered by this thread. Poor you. " You and the others who spend time bashing this league idea are the ones with bad logic. Standard Forever

I'm leveling a claw Duelist. From level 30-40, I counted exactly 1 rare claw drop and that claw was something like 12 levels under my current level (and its affixes were crap anyway). I'm still wearing a few pieces of gear that I had before level 20 (and it might be worse if it weren't for 2 low level uniques I am using from another character).
This is why I want a SFL. For me, POE wins by ARPG default, but if another one came along with depth that was at least somewhat friendly to people who don't want to play stock market or have insane amounts of time on their hands, I'd probably never be back here. I don't think I'm alone. I don't think most SFL people are asking to be able to find hordes of uniques, but the orb and rare/unique equipment drop rates in this game are horrendous (especially considering armor is fragmented in 6 parts in this game) |

" Yes those sneaky bastards! Some of them are even playing it now, having really tough time and game 3x more difficult but it must be a part of their "great scheme"! Are there enough self found orb drops to properly craft in current leagues?
That answer must be a resounding NO. Self found is more than just finding the gear that fits your spec it's also about using 'currency' for its created purpose to create the item(s) you want to try to create. Again, I don't get how anyone thinks that would turn into easy mode. Crafting/finding great items is and always will be hard. SFL doesn't mean instant 6 links. In current leagues only that latter is possible with a self found player. For those against, don't play in that league. It in ZERO way affects you. Pacific (GMT -8) Time

I would like the option for players to not trade within the same league as players who do trade, with the trade off of receiving better drops. Their drops could be bound to their player so they couldn't game the system to give other traders better drops. This would require a change to the way MF works in particular the last hit would have to apply individually to everyone rather than the player who gets the last hit.
A SFL would be cool too but I'd rather there not be another major league to further divide the players. We're already spread between standard, hardcore, domination, nemesis and races. Last edited by terrorist#7255 on Dec 17, 2013, 3:24:14 PM
