Big difference imo.

PS - SFL isn't going away. It's only getting bigger. For a league that requires a minimum of work to impliment (disable trading) it would be silly if they didn' throw us a bone.

The point of what I'm saying is not that someone would sell an account with a voltaxic and 20 exalts, just that botters will not sell currencies or items anymore (they can't in a SFL), they will just sell accounts, and they will gather orbs and bad ass items way faster with increase drop rates and "balanced" crafting around no trading (as not every but a lot of SFL supporters want). So no, SLF =/= end of RMT.

They are never going to outright say "no". Read between the lines or you will be left in the dust on the information trail.

They've given their reasons against it, and I'm confident it will never happen.

Actually no he didn't. Feel free to go back and read it all again.

Anyway, while account selling is a possibility, I think it would be easier to track and crack down on than selling items.
