Orb Candy, Diablo 3, and Sending a Message

I like how this is phrased as "Offensive" which has become the go-to word today for dismissing criticism of anything remotely related to Social Justice issues, this isn't offensive, this is hurtful, if you didn't notice it or don't care that's likely because it doesn't affect you.

Here's the thing though, why are all of you getting so worked up about this? it's such small detail but it reflects a very negative aspect of society and it alienates women, especially those who have experience with abuse and violence, removing it costs so little and does so much to make the game more welcoming towards the THE OTHER 50% OF IT'S POSSIBLE AUDIENCE.

No one has a problem with hacking and slashing women in this game because being hacked and slashed by loot hungry adventurers is not a problem that women face on regular basis, whereas sexism and misogyny are problems and do affect women, and the way a game portrays women, even if it's not intentional, sends a message to them.
As people have said before:
Why do you care about virtual sexual iconography, but not depictions of virtual violence?

Assuming your train of thought, it would mean by playing PoE (even if orb pics were removed) would be an offense to every people who die and suffer in wars and violence every day. You would be contributing to the glorification of the violence culture.

But you don't care about this, you want to remove the orb women but still playing the game, huh? Nice hypocrisy.
It makes you look like you are just projecting or following some kind of social justice bandwagon while not being really consequent about it, becuase in the end, you want to play the game (or similar ones)

I'm expecting some kind of "b-but it's not the same" answer because of the cognitive dissonance.

I don't even need to bother with that, because like those before you, what you are stating is simply a derailment and has nothing to do with the topic presented!

Edit: Confucius. Sorry for my poor late night spelling, and if there were any other errors I missed.

Confucius say, there is an edit button on your first post, though it would take a lot more than fixing a spelling mistake to make your post worth reading.
It's not LITERALLY what is being discussed, but the question still begs for an answer, one that would affect the discussed topic. Therefore it's relevant.
In honor of being declared the reincarnation of Confucius I have updated the OP with this little bit of helpful advice:

I should have guessed a lot of people who need education would show up and post despite me begging them not to. Start by googling "feminism", then "human trafficking", then maybe watch some "Tropes vs. Women" videos if you actually care about women and want to know why this is a big deal. If you can't even do that, proceed to post your drivel and be made fun of like all those before you. Hint: if you don't understand the issue, you aren't going to win an argument about it, so maybe don't try! Spend that energy getting informed about why this is a real problem, formulate a real question for me, and I'll be happy to help you along the path to enlightenment. After all, I am officially modern day Confucius according to a poster in this very thread!

This thread is fantastic!

My sides are aching from the 6 pages of gold.

On a semi-related note. Diablo 1 had an Angel and Devil holding the orbs, after playing that I've automatically assumed that all other ARPG's had the same and haven't even looked closely at the art of the orbs, because even if they where to put 2 seals in an overcoat posing as an elder man with constipation issues it would still look like an angel/devil to me.

*edit*

Also why are you assuming that they are "Sex-slaves"?

What if they're criminals chained up for their crimes? I'd say this is very thoughtful from GGG's side to show that not only men can be the assailant.
There's you and there's Lionel Richie.
