Blizzard hasn't done a damn thing I can respect or like for the past 9 years

Diablo 3 was the biggest dissapointment in art direction, gameplay and sheer volume of bad development ideas...

I thought it is completely forbidden to equally see the good and bad things in both D3 and PoE.

SC2 vanilla was ok, never a big fan of the franchise. It annoyed me quite a bit to say the least when I suddenly couldn't play custom matches b/c I didn't purchase the expansion.

Look at the numbers as they are now.

As i said, most ARGPs have a massive influx of new players and then it all dies down. D3's release was a primaryy example of that. Even POE's numbers have slowly gone down since launch.

The issue itself is not "how many people will initially play the game" - of which i'm certain that RoS will do fairly well (Brand image ftw).

However, in the long run POE has more to offer. With the expansion upcoming, if GGG is consistent in doing what they have been over the past year, i think RoS won't stand a chance.

Every game nowadays eventually dies out. The ones that stretch it for longer are the ones who offer more than just a business model aimed at revenue generation (nothing wrong with that, but we're talking about quality from a customers POV).
