When diablo 3 RoS comes out, PoE will die and the future will repeat itself

As a D2 player that still has multiple 99's with perfect gear, and as a D3 player that reached paragon 100 and got 99.999th percentile gear, I will never be going back to D3. PoE has exceeded D3 in every respect, and has exceeded D2 in everything but PVP. I have no interest in even casually trying the D3 expansion when it releases.

All hail GGG.

Sounds like you enjoyed Diablo but just found PoE to be better. Why not play both?

I'll also buy and play, I think I will get my moneys worth out of it, it's only 30 dollars after all. And then I'll buy a 100+ dollar supporter pack for PoE :D

I hope they make release packs soon. Cant wait to dump more hard earned money on this game.

Oh? Are you stepping it up from the Regal?
I'll be playing both so dont care for choosing sides. If I get bored of one then ill play the other and so forth.

RoS is going to be fun for a week or two, then you'll realize there's nothing to do because there's absolutely no build diversity.

Yeah, not enough health nodes in D3, that's for sure.

I will buy the new addon for D3 and will be complete him too.
But PoE always be my favorite game! So i'll back to PoE when finish the D3 and first of all - get a 8 stars or i can't to get all super rare uniqs :D
Aaron Ciccheli, a guy who made millions running Diablo and PoE RMT sites, owns a significant portion of GGG. How's that for a conflict of interest? 7.5% of your supporter pack money goes to this guy.
Yeah, how about no...

No mod action. Business as usual.

I chuckled.

But yea, for 30 bucks its worth trying out to see what they fixed. Just like for free, or 20 bucks in my case, its worth playing PoE. I'm not a set-in-stone fanboy; I'll play a game if its good.

I wasn't going to play RoS out of principle so that maybe Blizz got their heads out of their asses and started making GOOD games again instead of making games to make money. The irony of it is a good game makes money, so why not focus on making good games instead of just cashing in?

Anyways, my RL best friend is going to play, so I'll dabble too if I have time. I'll still play PoE, too.
It took a massive fail for blizzard to realize what they need to change.

While on the other hand,

GGG is constantly updating / improving the game. (I'm not counting new players who QQ on latest nerf patches, these are new. If you go through all the patch notes since closed beta, a vast majority are actually aimed at improving the game).

For that reason, i suspect ROS to do fairly well (if not extremely) initially. I think that GGG's dedication to the game will pull ahead in the long run.

For instance, a new expansion in early 2014. Can't wait to see the stuff they've come up with.

And the ladder system is much better (and has been getting better for a while).

D3 RoS might be better than the original, but still falls short. I (personally) think POE has more to offer even with the changes in RoS.

I've got a 100 paragon barbarian (faesroll WW ofc). I will still "try" ROS, but when the POE expansion hits i think the tide will turn once again.
