Haste aura is grossly underpowered

Vitality is awful. 40% mana for 1.65% life regen? It only takes about 4 nodes to get equal life regen from passives not to mention you free up a precious gem socket for codt. I have 8000 life but its irrelevant because i could just take heart of the heart and .4 life regen for more net gain!
Haste has the same issue, the same investment into other passives will net more DPS than the aura itself except basically TWO builds. Before, auras were OP because they were a guaranteed gain with no passive investment and codt didnt exist. now? theres no reason to pick up purity , haste, vitality because you can do more with the same amount of passives. I would be really disappointed if these 3 auras were not directly buffed or at least reworked to have a better place in the other than for lolscion aura builds. IGN: Arlianth

The devs think the players massively undervalue movespeed. To them, with the movespeed, haste is fine.

" They should rename 'movement speed' to 'desync speed', then the developers might start to understand why the players don't agree with them. " For reavers, they don't have any other choice for movement. Unfortunely due to the gigantic nerfs to cwdt, they are unplayable now in the league that matters: Nemesis. 4-5% movement speed is worth 1 node for all characters except leap slammers and whirling bladers. Honestly Auras are mostly based on Situation. If I don't feel threated by the enemies, why should I run a defensive aura? In that case I run Offensive Auras, which are normally Wrath, Hatred, Anger and Haste. With Alpha-Howl and Wrath and Anger you can reach great Elemental Damage just by using Quill Rain and Auto-Attacks... (well... "great" for auto-attacks).
If one of my auras need to be defensive I can easily switch. There aren't that many Auras in the game that it is impossible to carry them with you. So I basically like Haste because it is a 4th. dps-Aura and the only one for casters. With the increased Aura-Effect the move-speed is also noticable. I also like Vitality. Not only is it great for summoners (and propably must have) it also adds nicely to other sources of regeneration. |
