Haste aura is grossly underpowered

Haste is one of the many auras I dropped after the 60% change. It was a nice boost for eva characters who had their mana sorted out, but for 60% it just eats far too much mana and pales compared to Grace or Determination for my eva/arm build.

This, I'm running hatred and grace on all my toons now. I never used hated before but why would I wast 60% mana (without skill trees nodes and reduce mana gem) on Anger when the damage is so bad on Anger compared to Hatred.
Probably I'm forced to yet again change my play style because GGG is going to nerf Hatred/Grace because almost everyone use it. And as we now if it's good, nerf the hell out of it.

Haste is decent for casters, as they can't really stack cast speed as easily as attackers can stack attack speed. Also, hatred/wrath/anger aren't there to compete with it for offensive auras except with hatred/EK. It could still use a little boost though, IMO.

They should increase the movespeed on it at least.

I've always said they should just set a 2 aura max and call it good.

Does anyone run Determination anymore?

Just curious... as long as we're talking about auras that seem underpowered. Went up to 60% reserved, got no buff whatsoever.

Even with a few -mana reserved nodes, if I run 2 auras, my mana is close to nothing

Look at my sig, the EK guide, you'll see how. I have 41% Reduced Mana Reserved, and EB.

You're talking about one specific case, qualifying it as "easy" is a gross hyperbole. It's easy for you (and me, and anyone playing a scion/auras build) but impossible for almost any other build.

Determination is trash tier on itself now, you need 4k base armor to equal the benefits of Grace in an Iron Reflexes build. That requires insanely good pure AR rolls on all your equipment slots unless you play a 1.5k+ AR shield. And if you don't go IR, Grace will give you more survivability from evasion than Determination will from armor in many cases.

Depends on your build. If you go cookie cutter than sure. I'm running Determination and Discipline on my max block aegis IB Templar. The high armor lets you get more ES back on block.

Also I use grace plus determination on my ST build. I find the DPS boost isn't really worth the added defense in most cases (unless you have a crap weapon). Plus u pop a granite + jade and you are literally invincible.

haste is the only caster dps aura. (besides ek)
