The ugly truth about lotteries

I don't find anything wrong with lotteries.

The problem is putting your own trust into another person not to scam you.

Trust that they have the currency to back up their claim.
Trust that they are a respectable player judged from the community.
Trust that they will honor their claim.
These are hard to do, especially if you are not a streamer.

People do lotteries because it's low risk, high reward.
Depending on how much you "invest" into the lottery.

I find it simpler to look for items that have 2 or 3 more average rez rolls

Well we obviously approach the game differently. I like to max my res in as few affixes as possible in order to free other affixes for other attributes. You can have your opinion, thats fine. Good luck.

Heh, I'm already maxed out anyways now. Come back to this thread and keep us updated on your project.

The only thing I "envy" about your chest is the life roll. That was some awesome roll. But me, being me, I have to have a 6L, otherwise I feel the chest piece is flawed lol

If anything, if you were in my league for what it's worth, I'd reimburse you the armor shards.

Lotto's are about making other people pay for the gambling system in PoE for you.

If it makes you feel better Warmey, I ripped to Temple Map Piety because I had wrong rings on (my mf rings from farming merveill) so I am actually selling the chest now anyway =p. This was like several hours ago, at level 80. I will reroll and go again though, no biggy. You do have a nice chest, I'm not denying that, I was simply pointing out why this was also nice. Cheers.

13 of 45 ( this is MEGAcrap)
18 of 45 (again, MEGAcrap)
27 of 45 (Mediocre)
86 of 109 (Good roll but ckay27 did hit the maxroll)
109 of 120 (Your FIRST Highroll on Chest)
13 of 28 (Mediocre)

So you got 2x crap, 2x mediocre, 1x good, 1x high

If i would be you, i would Chaos/Exalt the Chest again. Not worthy to be on a 6L at all man. All my 5L have way better mods...

The only thing I don't like is that it's completely allowed to spam the general forum advertising a lottery. If anyone dares to speak out against the scamme....*ahem* lottery holder, GGG brings the automute system online and the admin removes the offending parties post. I just wish they would actually grow a pair and say either way whether or not lotteries, and advertising them is allowed or not.
