One example: implementing a counter to slowly increase the chance to improve higher linking for each fusing orbs being used on the item. Still a lottery, but less and less to justify the investment into ONE item.
But I suppose this would be too much asking in terms of programming...

I'm surprised people still call it "crafting", to be honest.

I already wrote in MGTopgun's thread, about the fact lotteries are necessary - because very, very few people in this game can afford to have enough Fusings/Jewellers/Chromes to guarantee success.

it's how people go about those lotteries, that truly disgusts me.
it's a scam-fest out there.

I play for hours and hours on end I think the most amazing one out there was

''Put an Emperor mod in this item and win 3 kaoms 20 exalted and 50$ irl''

I've spent 70-80 fusings on my chest on 20% q already, maybe more, I haven't kept count that closely. It has taken me three days of lunaris farm to do this much, yet I get nothing.

Then there's some guy in trade chat... who has now used 200+ fusings on his chest, but how much has he paid for it? NOTHING. ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY NOTHING.

He's offering 2 exalted orbs for his 5 link, so he's already saved at least 2 exalts.

Me? I try to do this the "normal" way, and I get punished for it.

This infuriates me to no end.

If GGG wants us to do lotteries, FORCE US TO DO IT OURSELVES FOR FUCKS SAKE.

GGG should make an announcement saying that "YES! We fucking made a goddamn lottery system bitches, because we lack the imagination to make a system which is NOT A FUCKING RNG!"

Then they should enforce a rule that anyone trying to fuck with their shitty lottery system gets banned, because us players should bend over to GGG and receive their thick RNG right up our self-respect and not think of ways to avoid this.

The whole community should literaly 100% run 6L lottos, then it would be fair because literally every single person would be running a lotto.

Then Nash Equilibrium would state that simultaneously all these lotto's would fail and we'd be rid of them as each and every lotto would fail to get fusings!

That's stating if everyone plays PoE perfectly though lol.
