Your "All Time" Favourite PC game?

I've never been an "absolute favorite" kind of guy. I like many things for many reasons, and I don't find many of those reasons to be particularly more important than the others. But if I had to pick one, I'd go with nostalgia.
Top of the list would be Jill of the Jungle. It's an old DOS game, and the first pc game I ever played. Following very closely to that are Kings Quest, Baldur's Gate, Fallout 1 (still better than the third), Jagged Alliance, and Half Life 1. Those were the days when you'd spend $30 on a new release, and if you ever saw advertised "over 20 hours of gameplay!" you'd think "Why the fuck are they bragging about such little gameplay!?" A few other honorable mentions: Warcraft 1 & 2, Unreal Tournament (the original), Tribes: Aerial Assault, and ... Shit, I have too ,any favorites XD Devolving Wilds

Monkey Island!
Look behind you! A three headed monkey! It's impossible to have one favorite game over years and years. Monkey Island 1/2 Heretic Civilization II Master of Magic I can play the world's smallest violin on demand.

Really hard to choose just one but if i had to it'd probably be a tie ( :D ) between Fallout 2 - partly because it's the first game i ever played but mostly because it's such an amazing game.
The second one would probably be Dark Sous: Prepare to Die Edition. So far i spent over 300 hours dying over and over in Lordran and i don't regret a single minute of it |

My all-time favourite would have to be Neverwinter Nights.
I sunk pretty much every waking hour as a kid playing that game. The story is absolutely fantastic, even to this day. The music is sensational and sets the mood really well and not to mention the sound effects and gameplay is really good. The game defined my gaming life/preferences up til this very day. My favourites:
-Bladurs Gate 2 -Diablo 2 -Red Alert 2 -Age of Empires 2 (all of them with their expansions of course) (hmmm after reading this post i see a trend towards sequels ;)) And a game which i have to mention when i think about my favourite games: Dwarf fortress :P Proud 5th duelist in the Jul 1 2012 Ladder Race and in the Nov 3 2012 Solo Turbo Race :D And even prouder 4th Templar in the Nov 10 Four-hour Party Hardcore Race :P Current OB success: top 20 Ranger in 105 Minute Turbo Solo (S4E9) Last edited by Sony_Black#0112 on Nov 11, 2012, 2:38:32 PM
