Can we delete hardcore league because it splits the already small community?

The problem is that argument about how hardcore players cant play softcore cause they cant trade with only other hardcores is true of a self found players ability to group as well.

Chris totally missed this in his argument against sfl - SFL does not = solo, and you cant group with people and maintain the purity of SF because you cant know the others dont trade.

Just like a hardcore player couldnt buy loot safely in softcore because the loot could come from people who die.

So in the end we have people who want a solo SFL, people who want a party SFL, people who want buffed drop rates and people who don't... yeah great. Good luck getting that SFL.

And here was me hoping for a E6LDPSL (Exalted + 6link drop per second league). Damn. I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now. Enjoy your QQ guys.

The only thing that players want in a SFL is no trading. Stop making up other BS about drop rates and grouping that have nothing to do with it.

then why do they ask for re balanced drop rates repeatedly in that massive SFL thread? You guys need to decide what it is you exactly want. seems everyone has a different idea. perhaps thats why GGG said no because in the end it wouldnt change a damn thing. they are smart enough to realize this you all are not.

OFC everyone has a different idea because everyone is an individual with different opinions, durr.

This is wrong, review your own thread. The vast majority of you imply that SFL SHOULD have higher drop rates.

Basically, I want gg gear quickly, buff drop rates, i mean, sfl league yeah!

YEAH SFL LEAGUE!

Not me.

This argument has poor logic. Where would any of the temporary hardcore leagues go then after they end?? To default? It's just not comparable to a SFL in such regard.

Yes, it is completely comparable to sfl.

Both hardcore and SFL are smaller groups(I assume) that want separate leagues to play. Both groups COULD play in softcore exactly how they play now. Its exactly the same.

I don't see that it is comparable. A lot of what makes hardcore different is the economy. With Self found you can ignore the economy entirely. It's the one permanent league where you don't wind up with an overflow of legacy items and such. There is more to it than just delete your char for hardcore. With self found not trading is really all there is though.

Just refuse to trade with anyone until the show you a screenshot of their /deaths.
See, you can still have your economy on standard.

I'm not aware of any hardcore players that could care whether their gear was "pure" or not.

The main reason for separation is to avoid the deliberate and malicious griefing of hardcore players for lulz.

No. The only reason for the HC seperation is to create an elitist self entitled community that can think they are better than everyone on scrubcore, as posts from HC players prove time and time again.

Actually, I think Sigmund Freud would like a word with you regarding your self-condemning feelings of inadequacy.

LOL at mention of that pseudo intellectual Sigmund Freud. Like his theories on why people turn Gay were sooo real, /not.

First of all that doesn't prove anything if I just move stuff I'm selling to a char that hasn't died. More importantly it would still be the economy of default as no items would ever leave the league through death.

Whatever. Chris dislikes the idea of SFL, that's fine. Get the paid league framework going already. I'm sure SFL will be packed.

This is likely the best and only solution to those who want a self found league.
