SFL being harder or not isn't the issue. It would take time and money to re-balance the game and host another league that might not even be worth it. How many SFL supporters would want it to be HC or SC or a 4 month league? There is simply no way to make every single person happy. I think GGG has a better understanding of their own game than we do. They've decided SFL isn't going to happen. No amount of forum posting is going to change that.

Well, sure I suppose. I suspect to actually get people playing a sfl in numbers to make it worthwhile the drops would need to be increased a bit - and I dont think that would actually be a problem but ohwell.

From my point of view, a proper self found league would just be a much much harder version of the game /shrug. One where sheer effort in playing the game is going to trump everything else.

The only time I've traded is when someone gave me 5L and 500 ES chests for 1 GCP each, and then for free things.

Later I chaosed a slightly better ES chest too.

You can play hardcore on standard, just delete your character if you die. Same logic as Chris's response about why he doesn't want a SFL.

I get it. You must realize though that sheer effort doesn't dictate anything in these kinds of games. RNG gods do.

What happens when someone plays SF for 200 hours and another plays SF for 200 hours and he happens to get a bunch of lucky gg drops? (200 is an arbitrary number, deal with it)

Hell, you could argue trading balances the game for people who happen to have had terrible drops.

Trading helps a bit against RNG, sure, which just makes the game even easier to thrash.

Also, if 200 hours gets you shit drops, play another 200. Repeat until problem is solved.

Well, that assumes your terrible drops were good enough to be able to trade for anything... some of my friends have had some reeeeally shitty luck lol.

edit: Not entirely sure if it's a troll thread or not, I have seen OP saying shit about HC in a lot of other cases though.
