i think that no-leech kills this item

if you think otherwise and 'cant believe etc' show us the build that makes it work

most probably some kind of burning arrow+ele prolif. tried that, it works dmg-wise, but once you are hit you are dead

also lightning arrow vs large packs works quite well but i preffer to take pierce gem and +35pierce passive AND have a life leech

Pretty sure you're supposed to run LGoH with Infractem.

yep. but there is an issue - it works only for life and to work it needs several targets. in single target situation - LGOH does not work that well

and there is also issue of mana leech - in my case more needed:

you can this

Thief's is a good ring but completely rapes potential dmg output

so it can work - even dmg wise - but good luck getting sustain

BTW these daresso salutes - how much?

No one ever considered the skin transfer microtransaction in all of this?

All uniques will have their own appearance sooner or later and I sure as hell like the looks of many of the "garbage" ones that are already in!

So why have I been unable to sell these awesome items for 3 months at rock bottom prices?

They're worthless vendor trash.

because they are all in standard league?
~SotW HC Guild~

my vision of uniques is that low tier ones should be the ones that have uniques habilitys while higher tiers ones should be all about 1 or 2 stronger stats than rares but with the drawback of loosing many other stats.

let me explain this a bit better, if low tier uniques where to have unique atributes like hp/es regen or chaos to ES or charge on hit/kill and the likes then this low tiers uniques will always have a place for those chars that are willing to trade high tier stats for those unique stats. in the other hand high tiers uniques having 1 or 2 strong stats say a double sword with 250% dmg increase or a dagger with "will always crit" and nothing else will olso serve a purpouse for some builds without breaking the game or turning them into mandatory items for every build.

Spoiler
Try Heatshiver (preferrably 3-4L with Discharge or Elemental hit. You'll be pleased with results :) And mana isnt an issue for these skills, really.

Spoiler

(ignoring that Discharge has higher req lvl than these items)

both items are low lvl

searing touch
+dmg. immense dmg difference
+6 link max
-spells only as weapon itself does crap dmg
- no shield

heatshiver
+can use any weapon (but this is moot as +1 to gems means MUCH more for spells and almost nothing for melee - except like 3 exceptions)
-all other

heatshiver along with lightbane rainment are two items that i simply cannot fathom how they got into the game at all

Queens Decree is a good summoner item - but because you forgo both own defence and Necro Aegis - you need 5Link minimum to somehow balance it out

using Queens Decree 'just because i want to' will get you or your minions killed FAST

build with Crown of Thorns? just play up to lvl 65 without a helmet - thats the same thing

You (as a lot of other players) only think in your narrow-spaced-phylosophy.
Like "i want all items to be godlike, so i can kill everything just with entering the area".

Recently i found interesting idiom: "negative nancy". It fits you very well (and others like you).
Don't take it as insult, but you judge these uniques only like "negative, negative, bad, bad..."

Simple example with Discharge & Heatshiver.
Your point of view:
"
+can use any weapon (but this is moot as +1 to gems means MUCH more for spells and almost nothing for melee - except like 3 exceptions)
-all other

But you forgot about some things
1) Not everyone can afford 6-linked Searing Touch (imagine, there are such players)
2) Heatshiver gives BOTH bonuses to Discharge (cause D is fire & ice gem at the time)
And what benefit from staff? Oh, burning? Just because almighty-kripp-master made build with Searing and all crowd just mindlessly copied it?
3) You mentioned about 'can use weapon" but didn't developed this thought. Strange.
Yes, you can use not only weapon but shield also.
Hence, survivability is greatly increasing despite this ridiculous "ooh, -18 to resistance"

Think about it. And
"
keep telling that to yourself..

that "this are garbage uniques" :D

As i said, if you can't figure out "how to use" item - this doesn't mean it's garbage, it's you that can't come up with good ideas. \o_o
Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it.

These weapons aren't bad for their levels!
The claw I used to level up my Templar. Yes, Templar :).
- No level requiert
- No dex/str/int requiert (!!!)
- 3 life on hit is more then enough up to level 20

Both 2h have a nice DPS for level 13+14. Which one to use just depends on your spec.

You are right, there are "bad" uniques. But this one aren't the bad ones ;).
What I miss are high end (level 60++++) uniques for armor/shield, armor/evasion and evasion/shield.
They are meant to make you go "holy sheet this is BROKEN AWESOME" while you've leveling for a while

the problem is the droprates are so low you dont find it while leveling - you find it during endgame with your super MF sporker when you dont need them

Some people do play more than one character. Sometimes, finding an interesting low-level unique can be what makes someone decide to try a new character in the first place.
I have a full set of under level 30 evasion / armor uniques including a pair of ungils daggers, and they make levelling my new shadow and duelist builds a breeze.

They are great for their level, too many people on this forum think that PoE ends once you've levelled a character, so dumb. You're given 25 character slots for a reason - use them and makes loads of builds.

I have a level 78 claw shadow. Then I made a Duelist to make use of the amazing rapiers I had found. Then a dagger shadow cos I wanted a dagger build too. Then I also want some bow builds, and a caster shadow, lots of builds to play with and use my lowbie uniques on to level up fast.

I can personally attest that there are some uniques that have literally made me try a new character.
