Whats the Purpose of Garbage Uniques?

and the thing is, you keep finding these crappy uniques at high lvl end game content when you don't need them...hmmm i wonder why.

With Last Resort, or better - 2, you can level any build with ease. Caster or not, that weapon has very high dps for level 1. You really are comparing high-level uniques with leveling-up uniques. That is just stupid.

Infractem sucks. That's a given.
The others.. Terrific leveling uniques. They sell in Hardcore game modes, but when I have 5 of each in my Anarchy stash, who is going to buy one? Same goes for Crest of Perandus, Goldrim. Goldrim is one of the most WTB items on onslaught, or was a couple of weeks ago, because it is the perfect leveling unique for people who don't want to die. Foxshade serves two purposes. First, the witch looks real sexy when you use it as a skin transfer. Second, if you don't have a Meginords you can put on a belt with high life and resists and level with Foxshade/Facebreakers. due to the added physical damage. Anarchy/Onslaught T shirt

As a argument to the usefulness of garbage uniques I present you the weapon I used from Act 3 Normal to Act 3 Cruel:

And for low-lvl uniques... well, like i said, they drop too often, and low-lvl non-unique gear drop much less often, so if you farm maps/lunaris, you wont be able to find proper items to complete recipe. It would be great, if any unique just had vendor price of 3 chance, for example. IGN: MortalKombat
