Practically every high level boss has enough dmg to at least 7-shot, so you're saying all hc players should skip level 7x map bosses? Or alt-f4 as soon as they get hit by a rhoa, every single time? Man if thats hc play in this game, I dont ever want to join the next hc league, even though I recently thought about it.

He got 'grazed' by the firestorm if you know what i mean, he wasnt standing in it ffs. And he wasnt even using his flask, it was just standing there in his belt, the n00p. Ranged builds have it waaaaay easier vs that boss.

For me it is the rush of not dying when your HP hits that critical point. I am not going to lie, hardcore has made me a better player NOT BECAUSE OF THE LEAGUE, but because of the price you pay if you die. All those people you see daily in hardcore, you won't see them anymore if you die, all that stash will be gone too, I love the rush...the fear. I feel like I am really living in a horror island when I know I cannot die.

I could really care less what the other leagues do, but the league I perfer is hardcore, my heart literally beats faster when I am in a bad situation. Fighting the new weaver brought that rush again, the unexpected, the unknown. I made it to level 70, I have surpassed my old fire witch who died to Vaal merciless, and my summoner is the highest of them all. I just don't care when I play standard league, there is no risk, but that does NOT mean I think I am better than anyone else. I hate those types of players, anyways...that's why I like hardcore. The thrill of the rush you get when you could die.

Whats the point of feeling joy of success and sorrow of failure?

Seem like rhetorical questions to me. And if they are not rhetorical to you, just stick with SC.

Well @TE because Hardcore gives me enjoyment and Softcore not. If there is not Hardcore mode in such games I dont play them.

One isn't better than the other they are just different. HC you tend to play cheesy. Maximize defense, avoid risk, overlevel before encountering the bosses, always have down portals so you can escape if you need to, use the poor mob AI to avoid boss attacks etc. My standard play is a lot less fun on HC but the boss fights tend to be a lot more adrenaline.

An example is my melee Marauder in standard cruel did Vaal while melee and avoided his big attack and yeah I lagged a little and died once on it. My next Marauder was still in HC for Vaal cruel and he just used fire traps to kill him, took a lot less skill but there was absolutely no risk involved. Very few fights before mid Merciless have any chance of dying as long as you are careful so to me HC doesn't really mean much until a player is in the high 50s. At that point you have some minor bragging rights and a better economy for the seller.

mostly for the economy , the thrill and the "dream" for a "perfect char" , u cant call a 150 deaths+ like most (not all) sc builds have a "perfect" char .


The economy is 10 x better than any possible softcore league , u can sell and buy things much easier.Its a lot more rewarding , i mean come one i remember i was looking at a sc shop once , 200dps sword was like 15 chaos, 600 armor chest with 2 medium resists 5 chaos and thats really really stupid.Thats when i understood why people find the game so frustrating some times. With those 15 chaos in hardcore u could have bought a whole decent cleaver set.Armors like those go for 1 alch.I dont know why sc players overprice things so much , it should be the opposite since most of the people progress to maps and dont care for medium gear but no..


The thrill , this is probably something u can never feel in sc except if u really wanna progress and are like lvl 90+ but really at that level u should already own the current content .In hc u feel this way from normal twilight strand to lvl 77 map Shrine, u are a lot more attached to your char.You build him for a simple purpose , to survive and u know its weaknesses , its strengths etc etc.U have to think well when u build to be able to survive to any possible situation , u get more used to the game and pay more attention to the details because u know that single small detail can save your life.Imo hc its the best way to learn the game.

Believe or not not everybody uses alt f4 , (oh and btw really noone uses alt f4 in hc...everybody knows it doesnt always work , esc and logout is the only way to be sure) , does it mean it shouldnt exist? Sc players would be the first to complain , thats the only way to get out of situations like lag desync etc etc.There are sometimes u have too , call me scrub but i dont want to lose my char to lag...There are a lot of people who dont really need to u know?There are some who dont want to. It doesnt mean all the hc players are the same as the guy u saw streaming , thats stereotype and its stupid.

Why does it matter anyway? Not everyone thinks the same way like u , i for example wouldnt play for not a reason in the world , and u wouldnt play hc . Does it bother any of us , let the kids and the trolls make league wars .
