Looks like a decent game. I played the beta and actually ordered the game - price is very decent compared to "The Great Crap Of May"...
I'll probably play it, but i have to say i prefer by far the style of PoE, and its skill tree which is just unbeatable. In my limited time for gaming, I know my favourite already :) |

I have played it for some hours now. It's definitely not a PoE-killer, but it will do while waiting for open beta :-)

Hm... I bought it from Runic's website, but the whole site seems to be down. It has been down all night, in fact. I finally gave up and tried to buy it on GamersGate, then activated it and downloaded it through Steam. Works perfectly. Guess if you want to play it, you need to use Steam. Sigh...

This is a HUGE improvement over the first Torchlight game. I'm really enjoying it so far. I don't see it pulling me away from POE full time, but I will be revisiting this a lot. The Mordux boss fight was crazy fun! Good job Runic!
I'm still on Act one and have already gotten 4 pieces of the Runemaster armor set. fun fun fun. |

" The Mordux boss took me 6min to beat since I was in veteran mode. Luckily as a construction Engineer, my healing bot heals me like crazy. And yeah, I got 2/3 out of the Ghastly set in one dungeon run. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

for 20e it is more than worth the money.
it is fast and chaotic which is a refreshing change. The innovations of PoE however are beyond compare. Mind you, i tried the TL2 beta before PoE so i am not biased, PoE is a much better game but TL2 is just like that fast paced rock song you like to listen to while driving on a highway. ps: spent 30 on PoE, 20 on TL2, pledged 25 on Grim Dawn, didnt buy D3, still feels like i got more for my moneyz |
