As for the Block Nodes, 3% isn't one node, that's 3+. When a build is really stretched, that last 3% can make you go pretty far, upwards of 5 nodes even, to get.. That's why Perandus is so good; it lets you not need to spend as many on Block Nodes, especially while leveling..

i think you forget the defence bonus you get when picking up all those block nodes , and the evasion nodes you can pick up aswell.

This is the first evasion shield that is usuable in an evasion build , or it could give alot of armour instead.

600 evasion with 100% shield defences + 40 % evasion just by dex , will net you 1440 evasion which is the lowest you will get in a build like that , that evasion will work better then them 3% block i can promise you that.

The flask is crazy good and it makes Jade flasks completely pointless: what's 3000 evasion when you can have 35% block as well as the two other things? The 35% block alone is more powerful than any evasion from any flask. Versus 100% Granite of Iron Skin it's largely situational, but with regards to overall usefulness per flask slot it's close to unbeatable at the moment.

The shield is basically a reflect-centric version of Perandus that is otherwise much worse than Perandus (3% block are worth more than 600 evasion easily).

Not sure what to make of the ring. Cold damage is considerably lower than fire damage, so the only thing that springs to mind is 4/5/6-Frenzy charge burning Discharge with 100% effective conversion.

So we bascially got all uniques that got added with this patch
the new unique flask (which is pretty cool and has an awesome skin)
new unique Saphire Ring
new unique vaal shield
and that new unique staff with lvl30 Echo

That block flask is crazy good.

unique flask - overpowered as f.. and it is sad because it seems that 'block' as an abstract is fixed in current - BROKEN - state. everybody should run this flask as there is no drawback to doing so and defense it provides is unmatched by any other flask

ring - interesting. however people dont see the drawback. destroyed enemies no longer proliferate burns so it makes for a very passive builds and might be very counterproductive in practice

shield - as said - a lesser Parendus but with 600+ evasion. 3% block is worth a lot more than evasion. esp because evasion cannot be converted to the most sought after defense - spell block. btw - very lazy design on this one, sadly
