The best part about Perandus is its high Block, this shield has less than Perandus, therefore it sucks..

Everyone here really downplaying the evasion of that shield. It's worth more than 1 block node.

Shield may be a decent option for Facebreakers. Will have to try on mine.

Combine the new shield with tempest plus the anvil?

As for the Block Nodes, 3% isn't one node, that's 3+. When a build is really stretched, that last 3% can make you go pretty far, upwards of 5 nodes even, to get.. That's why Perandus is so good; it lets you not need to spend as many on Block Nodes, especially while leveling..
